Friendly staff, great policy on comics savers, extensive selection of mainstream and indie comics as well as floppies and trades. If they don't have it; they're willing to order it for you so long as it isn't out of print.

Used to come here and always had a good experience, hadn’t been back in a while and was unfortunately really disappointed by the service. Game/Comic selection was good, but staff was unnecessarily condescending when offering suggestions for games.

The staff is super sweet I love the lady who was working in the back. The zines are so cool and there was a big spidey. Also a lot of pins, figurines, games, comics of course

Wonderful store, nice layout, great staff. I took my four-year-old daughter here for her first trip to a comic book shop, and she loved it!

Great customer service. Larger staff than some other comic stores, who are very nice and knowledgeable.

They have a great comic inventory from many publishers, back issues, trades, manga, clothes, toys, figures and a large selection of board games. Quite a diverse offering.

They will set aside your favorites for you to collect in your own folder if you ask, and special order merchandise for you.
There is a board game playtime upstairs during certain hours.

They have a prime spot in the middle of Piedmont avenue, one of Oakland's most attractive commercial districts so you can do lots of other kinds of shopping on the same trip.

I've been a regular for many years. My daughter, who first entered the shop in a stroller now comes in to pick out her favorite graphic novels with me every month.
