Oh...my...goodness!!! The food is absolutely amazing!!! The atmosphere is beautiful, love the music, staff is kind!
My husband loves to find little hole in the wall places, and this is the best food we've had in a while! My kids give it 10 stars out of 5 😂
Hubby had the New Yorker, soooo tasty!! Everything we had was phenomenal and filling!

I always try to support local small businesses, but I’m disheartened about a couple things - namely, the food is served in styrofoam, which poses significant health risks including cancer and nervous system damage. It’s also terrible for the environment and takes hundreds of years to decompose.

The smoothies have frozen fruit *and* sugary syrup in them. Why include that? It tastes unnatural and hyper sweet.

Please consider adopting more natural and earth-friendly ingredients and practices.

Waited 68 mins for this....... Cost me almost $30. Laughable. Visiting Hemet, do so every month or so. You couldn't pay me to try this place again. Nasty.

An absolute culinary masterpiece! The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Came in for some food with my husband, and they had children running the place. My husband got the wrong sandwich, and another couple didn't get all they ordered, and neither did my husband had to go stand 10 min to get his stuff. A couple( elderly) sat 45 min waiting for their food, and when they went to get their money back they didn't apologize nor look at them. When I asked for a manager the kid said it's been taken care of and doesn't concern me. Yes yes it does, when I find it very rude how you treat people in a place where you serve people. No sir you weren't that busy. By the way don't talk rude to me when I'm talking to you kindly. Also, if you are going to serve others be friendly, and don't be disrespectful. Would I eat here again..... Nope not till they hire people that care about the work they are doing.

The Downtown Deli is our favorite weekend morning spot for a delicious cup of coffee and the best avocado toast around. We love the friendly employees and the warm, welcoming atmosphere, along with the eclectic and local historical decor. Our only complaint is the very long wait time to get our food, ranging from 25 minutes to an hour. Not sure if the kitchen setup is not ideal for food prep, or if there are not enough staff to prepare the food orders. Additionally, there is no self service for water, which is served in a small Styrofoam cup, and refills have to be requested at the counter, which may require waiting in line. That aside, we love the Downtown Deli and will continue our coffee and avocado toast dates for as long as we live in the area!

Sandwiches were underwhelming though had generous portions.
Dry and needing more cheese comes to mind... Not a good way to cut costs...

Amazing coffee with an amazing atmosphere. I highly recommend getting the whipped cream as it's super fluffy and unlike anything I've ever had before. It tastes likely freshly made it and whipped it. The blended coffees are amazing and milk on Monday for $4 is a great deal!! It does take a little bit to get food out though as they are very busy so it might be a little bit of a wait and I wouldn't expect it to be as quick as some other places. That being said it's a very pretty place with a lot to look at unique seating so as long as you're not a rush I doubt you'll mind waiting.
