This is not just another 'eco' tour. Kent & Robyn from Dolphin Research Tours are both knowledgeable and passionate about dolphins and their environment. Thanks to Kent's years of expertise and research we not only saw lots of dolphins but learned amazing details about their behavior, even down to individual animals. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip which included a stop over at a secluded beach and a voyage through the mangrove channels. Truly memorable & Highly recommended!

We had our tour with Kent on 12/24, 8:30am.
He met us right on time and was very nice to my boys.
The tour is 3 hours long. We saw a bunch of Dolphins almost at hand reach distance. It was a beautiful experience. Kent talked to us about all the dolphin in the area, about the difference on their fins, etc. Very knowledgeable.
He took a photo of my family and printed it on the boat.
The lady with him was also super nice and sweet.
This is an experience to repeat for sure in a future visit.

Kent and Robyn took our family out for a three hour morning dolphin excursion. Kent was fantastic with my 6 year old and walked through what he would see, the differences between dolphins, and had an interactive booklet for him. My son thought it was the best thing in the world and had a great new friend that gave him 100% of his attention. We saw several dolphin and other South Florida wildlife during our trip. I highly recommend Dolphin Research Tours with Kent and Robyn ... you won't regret it.

What an incredible experience. From the lovely and comfortable boat, to Robyn and Kent’s clear passion for the dolphins and meeting new people, I can’t think of a better way to spend a few hours. Incredible to get so up close with the dolphins and learn more about Kent’s 15 year study tracking and learning more about the dolphins and their movements and behaviours. So cool to learn about male pairing. It’s a very well paced tour with a ride around the mangroves, and a stop on a beautiful secluded beach where you can find some incredible shells. Without a doubt the stars of the show are the dolphins (who you can even hear vocalising in the water with Kent’s microphone) and captains Robyn and Kent - whose warmth and wit is apparent at all times. For tourists and locals alike, this is a must do!

Amazing tour! The Dolphin Research Tour is a fun, entertaining and educational tour all in one. We saw a lot of dolphins and learned all about their habitat and habits from Kent who has been tracking and studying the dolphins around Marco Island for years. Robyn was excellent at the helm.
Kent and Robyn do a great job conducting the tour.
I highly recommend the Dolphin Research Tour. It is definitely a must do for natives and visitors to southwest Florida.

This is such a great experience. The crew of Kent and Robyn really know what they are doing. Kent introduced us to so many dolphins.. by name even😊👌We toured some of beautiful mangrove forests and visited white sand beaches, where we were the only boat.
I highly recommend this tour.

The tour was amazing! Kent and Robyn were very knowledgeable about the islands and the animals. Kent was great at getting the kids involved with the searching for and identifying the dolphins and other animals. Highly recommend this tour!

Loved exploring the islands and learning about the Dolphins in and around Ten Thousand Islands. Kent and Robyn’s shared knowledge and enthusiasm for the dolphins and ecosystem was contagious. We had a wonderful time and recommend this excursion for all nature lovers and all ages!.
