Excellent experience at this resort. Themes and esthetics were perfect. The room layouts were carefully and thoughtful planned. Very calm and relaxing experience. There are so many activities daily that it's enough to just stay at the resort for a day before even heading to the parks. Service is limited; there is no room service, and you have to return your luggage cart to the lobby (which can be a hike depending on where you stay). The location is perfect for Hollywood Studios access, but it can take a bit longer to get to Epcot or even Magic Kingdom. Everything was very clean and housekeeping was very accommodating. All in all, I highly recommend for a moderate budget friendly Disney resort.

Highly recommend this resort. It is so easy to get to all the parks. The sky-liner was amazing and the bus transportation workers were so friendly. All the pools were super clean and had towels. Room service was very attentive. I will recommend this resort to anyone and hopefully will be back. Rooms were very clean. The front desk were also super nice!

It would be easier for me to identify areas of potential improvement here, rather than what works well.

The culinary staff shows a moderate lack of experience, based on how they cook their food. There was a lack of dairy added to the eggs for breakfast, and a lack of salt, which would dramatically improve texture and taste. Many of the recipes that call for garlic had so much garlic added that they bordered on inedible. Otherwise, the food was not terrible.

If you're looking for a good value and a key location that provides ready access to the parks, staying here at the resorts is a solid choice.

The layout and style is unmistakably similar to military barracks, or university dormitories, but with some pleasant Disney touches added. In short, it serves the purpose as a value choice, but may feel a little lacking if any significant time is spent in the lodgings.

The coffee is terrible. Flat out. It gave me something to look forward to returning home to Boston, to.

4/5 solid choice. I grumble around the margins, and they are small margins.

Our family of 4 had the perfect stay. We were at one of the Lion King suites. The two beds plus pull out couch worked really well. The three pools were also great and we had no issues with buses or the skyliner. We will be back!

Rooms are great. Service has been great. Location is a little distant which means you only have the Skyliner and buses as options. And bus rides can be long.

Resort is nice. Very good for kids. Pools are super kid friendly. Service staff never complains.

For the price difference with the premium resorts, hard to recommend overall UNLESS you have small children.

Art of Animation is one of the more affordable Disney resorts. The rooms are pretty small and no frills, but the decor, especially around the pool, makes up for it. The "cafeteria" is a little chaotic, but the food isn't bad. Transportation to the parks is pretty easy. Buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, but the best way to travel is the new Skyliner. Only going to Hollywood Studios and Epcot, but it's the most relaxing ride.
We did have an issue with the cleanliness of our room at check in, but Housekeeping was very apologetic and sent someone over to do a top to bottom cleaning.
We have stayed here before and it's a great place to sleep after a long day at the parks.

This was our first time going to Disney as an adult and staying on property. They really do have a good system and everything does work rather well considering how big of a place it is. The rooms were nice and clean. I did like the older style exterior entry rooms of the little mermaid rooms. The pools were nice and clean and everything just seemed taken care of. Every Disney employee I ran into was nice and friendly.

We love how the rooms have two bathrooms and enough beds for 6 people. These rooms are definitely perfect for our family of 5. The exterior is very nice with all the themes and characters. You'll spend some time exploring and taking pictures. The pools are also great when not spending time at the parks. I would definitely recommend for families with kids 12 and under.
