We went on a Tuesday during Spring Break. We arrived right when they opened (10am) & had no issues parking or getting our tickets. The park is very clean & there is so much for kids to do. Our 6-year-old had a blast! Her favorite things were the playground, the train, the touch & tell exhibit, & all the dinosaur statues.

From an adult’s perspective, it was a little cheesy, but the exhibits had good information, the park is nicely shaded, & you could easily spend all day there letting your kids explore & play. I think the value you get for the price of admission is great.

I’ve been to this place quite a few times, and i can confirm that it’s great. Theres so much to see and do, tons of huge dinosaur models with interesting facts on plaques by them and quite a few activities to do, like my personal favorite, the gem mine. At the gem mine you get a mining pan and a bag of dirt that contains tons of gems, then you get to go to the sluice where you can poor the mix in your pan and shake it around in the water and see the gems start to appear and the pebbles go away, then you get to take all the gems you got home. Theres also playgrounds, a ā€œfossil miningā€ experience, and a small train that takes you around a large part of the area. There are also food options, which i have not tried but they look good. Theres also a huge gift shop with a variety of gifts and souvenirs. Overall, i would rate this place 9/10. I highly recommend it to families with kids.

This was a great day park. The price for entry was well worth the day wondering through the exhibits, riding the train, and enjoying the outdoors.
The kids had a blast with putt-putt and the playground as well. Lots of placards with information to learn about the past from. It was also not jammed with people, plenty of space to take our time enjoying it all.

The park is very well designed, and you need at least 4 hours to explore it. Unfortunately, some things were lost due to the hurricane, but it's still worth visiting. There are new dinosaurs that seem to have been replaced with other materials. It was a lovely experience. I recommend the ticket for the 3 experiences, which include the gemstones, the archaeological excavation, and the little train – a great way to complement the visit. It’s really worth paying for it. There’s detailed information available in both English and Spanish, although as a suggestion, they should review the Spanish as I noticed a spelling mistake on one of the signs. The food truck stand is very good; the lady who runs it is very kind, and the hamburgers were excellent. It deserves 5 stars because it’s a unique place in Florida, and I don’t see any significant details that would lower the rating. I highly recommend it to the community if you’re passing through – it’s worth visiting.

We had the best time with 2 of our grandsons, 5 and 6 yo. So fun, we will go back. It was nice to have the activities like been mining to do also.

Don’t Fall for the Upgrade Scam (March 20)

Our experience at the end of this otherwise cool place (with employees ranging from subpar to terrible) ruined our visit and left my daughter repeatedly asking ā€œwhy can’t I ride the train?ā€, much like awful service at a restaurant with otherwise good food.

This place is nothing short of a con. They pushed an ā€œupgradeā€ package with zero transparency, conveniently omitting the fact that the main attraction—the train ride—can shut down at any moment without notice. No warning. No signage. No shame. And where’s the train? Tucked away at the farthest corner of the park so you only discover the scam after they’ve already pocketed your money.

When we arrived to the train stop, we were greeted by a sour, bitter old man who curtly barked that the train was closed—completely unmoved by the heartbreak on my 5-year-old daughter’s face. He was cold, abrasive, and downright hostile. Frankly, someone that devoid of empathy should be nowhere near a family attraction—let alone children.

I asked to speak with a manager, hoping for some level of accountability. Instead, I got a red-faced, deer-in-headlights kid named Arriana reciting a robotic, pre-packaged apology like she was reading off a teleprompter. Clearly, they’ve had this conversation a lot. Their insult of a solution? A laughable $15 store credit, which probably costs them less than a souvenir keychain. That’s not customer service—that’s damage control wrapped in corporate indifference.

This place doesn’t care about families, doesn’t care about your experience, and certainly doesn’t care about your kids. It’s a business built on bait-and-switch tactics, condescending staff, and pathetic excuses.

Skip the upgrade and save your money and your time. Or take your kids somewhere that doesn’t treat disappointed children and ripped-off parents like just another line item on their refund script (we had a great experience at Glasier and the Florida Aquarium, where the staff genuinely loves making kids happy).

A bit warm but the boardwalks are nice and so is the park. Some shaded indoor areas and overall a great place if your kid loves seeing large dinos and enjoys being outdoors. A bit pricey

We went here for a 3rd Grade field trip and had a blast! Scholars got to mine for gems, dig for fossils, and learn about dinosaurs. Great gift shop as well. Would highly recommend for field trips for sure. Also, there were several restrooms and eating areas around the park.
