We just finished a 3-month stay at this park. There are both mobile homes and RVs in this park. The RV spots are very large, although a bit unlevel. It's a very quiet and safe place. The laundry facilities are clean and include an area outside with clotheslines. But the best part of my stay were the mineral hot spring pools and spas! There are also many social activities planned throughout the month. We have reservations already made for next season and look forward to our stay.

The amenities are awesome. Not as fancy as some RV parks but they have a pool, jacuzzi, hot pool and cold pool (really nice in the heat) and they are all hot springs mineral water.

HUGE lots. Many are wide open, which isn’t ideal for windy season, but many options to choose from. Book early and often.

Joel, the onsite manager is awesome, funny and a pleasure to work with.

It is pretty far out, in Desert Edge, but it’s still only 10 miles to downtown Palm Springs.

Worst RV park we were ever at. 2 weeks after we arrived out golf cart got stolen. Called the office and the rude manager Chrissy didn't care. All she said was "Oh our cameras weren't working". People drive in at all hours of the night, it says that it is a 55+ so why are there people walking around at 2am. Always wondered if our truck would be stolen. As I said the manager Chrissy is the worst manager I have ever seen, she is so rude to the people that live there. These people are in the 70's,80's and do not deserve to be treated like this. It seems the owners do not have any common sense to have that thing as manager. We will never return and will let people know about this place. You are swimming with sharks

We enjoyed our stay at Desert View. The mineral pools are amazing. They keep the grounds, pools, and park clean. It is a bit of a drive to a Walmart, but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

I phoned to find out what the space rental was on a property I was interested in purchasing. Chrissy, the agent gave me a price range for spaces in the park. Prices varied considerably. I asked her for the rental amount on the specific unit I was interested in. She responded that she would give me the info when I pick up an application. I told her that I live in northern CA and could not come by to pick up an application, and the actual space rental would determine if I was interested in the property. She again told me the price range. When I pressed her further, she told me she wasn't in the office and didn't have the rental info available. I suggested that she could have told me that up front and offered to get back with me when she had the actual rental amount for the property I was interested in. She hung up on me. If this is how management treats potential residents, I certainly would not want to have to deal with them if I lived there.

Update 1.17.24: After being contacted by a seller who was putting together legal action against DVMHC because Chrissy's sabotage of THREE valid purchase offers from qualified applicants made all three sales deals fall through. I've heard that Chrissy has now departed and DVMHC is in the process of finding a new manager. I hope my negative review is no longer pertinent.

Horrible experience with Park Manager Chissie. She was condescending and rude. Sounds like the manager doesn't want people to move in. Need to get someone that has better customer service skills. Also how come I don't see replies from the owner to these reviews when they are bad? Remember you are working with customers over the age of 55 who grew up on the fact that the customer was always right. Even if we are not right have some compassion, dignity and respect for those you are serving.

As RV parks go this one is great for the size of space you get extra large with picnic table on cement slab. The pool, hot tub and jacuzzi are wonderful.

This is the sleeper RV park the sites are nice and big you could put 3 TVs in your spot probably the cleanest park we have ever been too, the .mineral pools are great here for the winter will definitely be back
