Favorite game shop around by far. Have been going here for many years to feed my Magic addiction. Awesome selection of singles, booster packs, and custom pack bundles. Excellent selection of boardgames as well. Great snacks, cold drinks, and clean bathrooms.

Great local gem of a shop that I wish I had stopped in sooner. Recently got back into collecting Pokemon TCG after about 24 years and was able to get a really nice start to collecting again. Shop has nice variety, is clean and organized, and the staff are all super friendly and willing to answer any questions. The store is also much larger inside than you’d think from looking at the outside. Ample space inside and a really wide variety of comic books, board games, MTG and such in addition to Pokemon. They made me feel right at home from the moment I first walked in, all in all fantastic local shop, would definitely recommend!

Great local gaming spot. I regularly play Dungeons & Dragons there, and they had a Pokemon tournament recently. The staff learn your name and get you when you come in. Lots of board games to buy and to try out.

Great little shop. I wish I'd found it much earlier. Exceptional selection of Magic, limited on Pokemon right now, but so is everyone, amazing board game selection as well. All the prices were very fair.

Descent into Gaming was one of the only stores I’ve been to that kept their TCG prices quite fair. It was a place I found worth the one hour drive. The atmosphere was friendly and it felt great being able to get product without forking over the super high market price being established these days.
Paying extra due to demand is understandable, so when I preordered the new Pokemon set I kinda expected a price above retail (was told a different price initially but will gladly pay a bit more for a LGS I support)
Last time I inquired about product, it seems they have changed their direction and may be charging certain product at really high market prices. Not sure if this is the case for all TCG products but I’m truly hoping this is either temporary or due to certain product circumstances. Would love to keep coming back as I appreciate the store overall.

This is my favorite store to play Pokémon with my son. The difference maker here is I believe they truly care and try to put on a good event every Saturday. They like to toss in promos, league packs to take care of their players and there’s ample room with fair pricing. I hope the crowd keeps growing cause this place is special.

Descent Into Gaming is legendary! This place is usually empty (regarding customers) which is awesome because I don't like browsing around other people. And the owners will randomly pretend they're checking inventory as they stare at you and your son to make sure you're not shoplifting.

I totally give this place 5 out of 5 stars and I have a feeling you will too!!!

called the guy on the phone about a pokémon set, asked him if there selling it for retail and he says yes. drive 30 minutes over there and found what i was looking for and he goes to ring me up and charges me double the retail. these people are POS scalpers. do not support
