I've been a delusion fan for years. I've enjoyed some great interactive plays, but this year's was the most disappointing. It had everything it needed to make a great experience, but the plot was disjointed and the storyline was not well thought out. Without giving anything away, I'd say it would've been better if the play was done in the opposite order. There was a lot of mishmashed build up and a scene that left a lot of us wondering what was actually going on. They broke up the group more than they needed to and not in a very creative way. On top of all that, the price for the tickets was unreal this year. I was willing to pay because usually it's pretty fun, but this year was kind of ... boring. I'm not sure why, but for some reason the stories have gotten more and more bland over the years. One year they basically used previous storylines which felt like a lazy way of putting it together. The actors lines are very generic too. This year was the biggest disappointment. It was not scary at all and I was ready to leave half way through. Also, if you'd like a drink before the experience, I recommend going elsewhere where you might find a better drink for less money. The location was only good thing about it. I'd like to go back and visit without delusion if they offer tours.

I've wanted to experience Enter Delusion for so long and I finally got to go this year, and wow! It was amazing. Interactive, exciting, great acting. I'll be making the trip to LA every year for this from now on!

This experience was incredible—definitely a 10/10! I loved the story and how interactive everything was. The actors were outstanding and kept everything exciting and INTENSE. The mise en scène was spot on and really set the perfect atmosphere. I’m absolutely planning to come back next year!

The worst haunted house I’ve ever been to. The only thing scary was the price of the tickets. I honestly felt cheated out of my money. The story didn’t make any sense and was impossible to follow, there wasn’t anything scary through the whole experience, and there was little effort put into the props or characters. Plus the VIP experience is a joke you end up paying them to provide free labor. Don’t make the mistake I did. Save your money.

The experience itself was enjoyable, but we were treated poorly by several staff members. At least four were rude, including the cashier, a red-headed woman at the entrance, one of the priests, and the woman guiding us from outside to the first introduction room. This really affected my overall experience

I've done Delusion 6 times now. It's unlike any other experience. It's not all jump scares, it's deeper themes and stories. One year was about loss, another was reclaiming your memories, this year was mourning and how toxic it can be when you refuse to let go.
It doesn't always "make sense" at first glance. It takes time to put it together and it's more an emotional journey than a literal one.
It's unique and well worth trying.

If you're willing to suspend your disbelief you can physically enter a horror story crafted by clever creators, inhabited by creepy characters, told by skilled performers. If you wanted a haunted line with bloody clowns 🤡 or whatever barking at you, head to the other side of town, pay $80 to stand in line for 4+ hours.
