Good place to have any kind of parties. The staff is nice and the rooms were good. They have a pool, a nursery building for the lil ones, a lake so u can go canoe with your friends/ family. You can also have a wedding there and have a reception. You can also go riding on your 4 wheeler, dirt bike etc...They even have a swimming pool too. The place is beautiful and fun. I had my daughter's sweet 15 there and she had fun with her family and friends.

Been coming here off and on my whole life! Such a peaceful place! This is a place you can rent out for big family reunions, weddings, church events, sports camp and more. The ground care taker does such a great job maintaining the property. There is a big kitchen and dining hall for large groups. All the rooms even have a/c...and they have a pool. The wild life you see is amazing!

Deerhaven has always been amazing. I used to go there for camp during the summers. Gained lifelong friends at this amazing place. The grounds are huge and full of trees and other nature. The lake is a good time, every time and the main building is great for anything from meals to indoor "campfire". Always updating as I see on the FB page, better every day.

Not a review, just some important information to consider. This place is called Deerhaven Retreat and Conference Center and it does not do single rentals for individuals. It is meant to be a group conference and retreat in Ocala National Forest where you can reserve different calendar days to visit within the year. My interaction with the young man on the phone a few minutes ago was very pleasant, as he was informative and polite in talking with me. I can say from the pictures of the area, it is a beautiful and well-maintained place.

I’ve been coming to Deerhaven for 15 years. It’s a gem amongst Florida’s campgrounds; most of which are still too close to civilization to really let you escape. Deerhaven is a piece of paradise, a place you can truly relax and my happy place!

Accommodations range from motel rooms to rustic cabins or trailer hookups. Great opportunity to observe wildlife in its natural habitat.

We stayed here for a square dance event. A little rustic for my taste -- they have dormitory-style rooms; bring your own sheets, pillows, towels, etc. Overall, clean and well maintained.
