Great selection of games and amazing staff. Unfortunately, the high prices and putting security stickers on collectible games, devaluing the items, earns this place one star.

Edit: The owner states they put stickers to tell if the game that came from them in the event the customer takes it back for resale. Permanently altering the product upon purchase is not the way to do it. I wouldn't have bought them if I knew security stickers would be put on the disk. They weren't advertised on the shelf like that.

Instead of accepting fault for the way I was treated in your store you take no blame or accountability. This is a reoccurring theme for for the many negative reviews your store has. I indeed saw your employees sorting and going through Pokémon cards on the sales floor, why would i make that up? You would have seen that if you reviewed the tape a year ago and met with us like your staff and you told us you would to rectify the issue. You sold me a broken PS2 and replaced the PS2 with another broken PS2. The controllers you gave me didn't work properly. I waited for a manager to come as I was told he would for 2 hours. You never came. I requested to meet with you, you agreed to at least have a phone call with us and you never called and we're never available. To all Cybertron customers that are unhappy I recommend, Hudson's, Royal Empire or Omega video game store. Employees there actually have accountability, you're greeted with a smile not some angry staff memberswith an attitude because they don't want to be there, they want to play and trade Pokémon cards and syphon through all the good stuff before it goes to the customers. Don't give someone that lacks accountability in life and in business any business. You will be sold broken consoles and you will be sold broken accessories, scratched up games and kicked out when you complain. That's the only "Cybertron Guarantee" i experienced

I brought my GameCube in about a year ago to get fixed and a guy (named Zack I think) was very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose it. As busy as he was, he fixed it within 1-2 days.
Not long after, I called and asked if he could look at my N64 console. The person on the phone asked what was wrong, I said the power turned on but nothing on screen. He said it could be a number of things and that they couldn't repair it if needed (for liability reasons I guess?). Fast forward to now, I called again and asked if someone could look at my N64. Someone said I could bring it in and have a tech person look at it. I wound up taking it to another shop and my console (and 6 cartidges) were deep cleaned for free and it's been fine ever since.
The customer service could be better, but I'm grateful that Zack took the time to fix my GameCube.

So my husband has been coming here for a bit and I recently came as well. I understand we got there at 7 but I did not appreciate the passive aggressive muttered "I hate when people do trade ins after looking around the store" that the man at the counter said to the other employee while my husband and I were standing right in front of them. As someone who also deals with people all day I can understand frustration but we were not in there but maybe 10 minutes tops and gave no one any trouble. We appreciate having a place to go to for retro games at good prices but the passive aggressive nature of the man behind the counter makes me not wanna go back.

I live on the island of Aruba, where tourism is our primary source of income, and providing excellent service is key to fostering repeat guests. This is why, every year, I return to Cybertron Sanford. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by someone who makes you feel welcome. I bring a lot of games to trade in each year, and no matter how busy the store is, Ryan has always shown remarkable passion and humility in assisting me and my partner. He goes out of his way to make every visit memorable.

This year, I decided to email in advance with a list of games I planned to bring. In less than 24 hours, Ryan responded. When I visited the store three weeks later, he remembered me by name. He took the time to explain the defects on my trade-ins and helped me find new games for my collection. I’m already looking forward to my next visit in 2025, as there’s simply no store or staff that compares to the outstanding experience at Cybertron.

Me and my Fiancé went to 3 different locations, looked at white Wiis, priced was marked differently at the other 2 locations. Then we proceeded to buy 2 games at this location, did not receive military discount, and the price for one of the games was charged more than the price on the box. Game was labeled at 9.95, payed 12.95. Still did not receive military discount after presenting required id (for a non rare game, seeing as they do not give military for rare and consoles) and had to create an account with the store to receive my refund in cash. It is not about the money, it is about the principle. Do better.

(They also put the silver stickers on the disk themselves devaluing the disks, why not put it on the case?)

Update: Asking if the warranty sticker is fine or okay does not specify that it is it going onto the disk, assuming case is also in hand.
