Awesome gym. Everyone from the front desk staff, personal trainers, and members were very courteous. Everyone here reracks their weights. All weight machines, cables, cardio equipment, and free weights are kept in working order. I will definitely be coming back here every time I visit the area.

Coming from the location in sacramento, this place is very run down. A lot of the machines grips and handles are missing or breaking off. The gym mats are all really busted and thin. Place is very tiny. They're rope machines don't work the digital side of it at least. Other machines don't work either. This place is ghetto. I'm not paying for another month here. So you have to wonder is it just poorly managed? I've been to the Crunch Fitness in Sacramento and Philly and neither of them are like this

I love the vibe and atmosphere here. It's really a no-judgment zone (and as an editor by trade, I am impressed by how "judgment" is correctly spelled in signages all over the gym). The trainers and staff are all friendly and accommodating, and my personal trainer, Damon Treat, is the best!

The equipment is in need of replacement and/or repair. The leather is tearing. The type of weight equipment they offer is good, but could use a Hack Squat machine. The gym is too small for certain times of the day. The leg extension machine in the picture below has been broken since the pandemic. It's too short for people over 5'9 & hurts your shins because you cannot adjust it. When I keep telling the manager, she keeps telling me they can't get the part. A part could have been made at this time or a new machine could have been purchased. However, they continue to charge an annual fee for new equipment or upkeep. 🤔

Good for dumbbells and cardio. If you want to use cables you’ll be waiting a while. Not enough equipment for as many people that go here. Bring your own cable attachments, that’s what everyone else does here because for some reason the gym does not supply any rope pull down attachments or even the smaller hand grips. Bathrooms are clean enough, the equipment they do have is in decent shape.

After searching high and low for someplace in the area that offers Group Fitness classes (Zumba in particular) I finally found Crunch. My review is primarily based on Zumba class so if you're not interested in that, you may want to skip this one. I hadn't done Zumba in years but I remember how much I enjoyed it and how it helped me to lose weight in the past. For me, it's important to do something I enjoy. That makes it easier to do consistently. From the first evening we came in, the Zumba classes have been a blast. They have several options. Right now there's Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening, Friday evening and Saturday morning. I typically can't make the Tuesday one because I have to work but I made it once and it was fun. Every instructor has their own flair. I typically burn around 600 calories per class. Sometimes the class can get pretty full but there always room to get it done. Highly recommend coming here. Oh and the gym itself is nice too. Lots of equipment. It gets pretty crowded from what I can see. We use PF for our weight lifting and other cardio you. I like it here.

Ladies, it's time to prioritize your safety and comfort at the gym. Despite giving it a chance, it's clear that this gym isn't maintaining a welcoming environment. From a lack of available machines to a persistent shortage of cleaning supplies, the management's negligence is evident. Additionally, the presence of creepy individuals who make women feel uncomfortable should never be tolerated. It's unacceptable that concerns are dismissed as insignificant.

Let's choose gyms that prioritize the well-being of all members and take action against inappropriate behavior. Remember, your safety and peace of mind are paramount. Avoid this gym and find a space where you can work out confidently and without fear.

I wish I could post the video that I took of this man but unfortunately I can’t. Stay safe because it’s clear we are safer with bears than we are with men now days.
