Friendly staff and helpful clean environment. Food was good they do not offer complimentary breakfast. Our room was clean with an accessible balcony with nice views if facing the back. Views will awesome during spring fall and summer seasons.

Be careful who helps you at the front counter upon check-in and ensure you know exactly what they are charging for (should be $20/night for incidentals). I got charged full price for the hotel even though I prepaid and how have to dispute it through my bank. The attendant, Al, did not disclose to me that he was charging full price, and was nowhere to be found when I disputed it. Otherwise, hotel is quiet and comfortable. No complaints there. Customer service was definitely hit or miss.

Definitely not the "Marriot" experience I am used to as a Titanium member. Do not recommend it.

1. You have to wait for staffing at the front desk to arrive. They aren't always present and available.
2. The restaurant is very limited. They offer a $10 discount however none of the staff know how to apply the discount.
3. The furniture in the rooms are not conveniently placed as you can not watch TV while laying on the bed because the armoire is blocking the television.
4. There are no microwaves in the room.
5. The beds are very springy and not the hotel comfort that you would expect.
6. The area itself is accessible to a lot of restaurants, so that was good.

Six Stars!!! Amazing staff and excellent property. The hotel décor is beautiful and inviting. SUPER CLEAN! Superb customer service and professional staff, especially hotel staffer Vilmari. She went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant experience. This property is close to the outlet mall and restaurants. It was our first stay but definitely will not be our last. First off, the pictures on the Marriott website are a woeful misrepresentation of the hotel. This property is in desperate need of a refresh. Many places throughout the hotel you will see numerous scratches, scuffs, dents, and water spots. The television in our room did not function the entire time we were there and numerous calls to the front desk still left the TV inoperable. Also, the hotel on Saturday night reeked of weed throughout. I thought the hotel was non-smoking? ||I guess the only saving grace was the housekeeping staff. They left the room well-stocked and tidy. Upon check-out, it was discovered there was an erroneous charge on our folio. We mentioned as we were checking out and we promised the manager would look into this and correct our bill. Well, the charge posted and further follow-up we were met with the same indifferent attitude and no resolution. This hotel was just ok, but will be looking for other hotels in the area next time we are in northern NJ.

I'm writing this review because Al at the front desk is a customer service pro.

He had answers to every question we had. (Do they have a guest washer dryer? Yes...) And was absolutely happy to be a help to us. (My mother needed a hypoallergenic pillow.) Al made it happen.

You can't learn this quality, being happy to be helpful to others. You either have it. Or not.

I stayed here for two nights while attending JLR courses in Mahwah. I booked the hotel two days before check-in, and the location couldn’t have been better—it was super close to the training venue, which made things so convenient for me. The staff were great—really polite and professional.

The only issue I had was with the room temperature when I arrived. I got there late at 12:30 AM on November 20th, and the room was freezing—set to 60°F! The heater was off, so I had to turn it on myself, and it took quite a while to warm up to a comfortable 70°F.

Other than that, I had a good stay and really appreciated the overall experience. Hopefully, next time the rooms will be a bit cozier for late-night arrivals. Thanks to the team for the hospitality!

This hotel is a complete waste of money. no amenities other than a pool and fitness center. You have to sign up just to get wifi. Biggest concern is our experience with customer service. we had a room connected to another with a random group of people. as soon as they got into their room they had been blasting music late at night as well as yelling singing and talking about uncomfortable things such as kidnapping. We decided to let it go until we started smelling weed come into our room. Upset with the smell we call the front desk they say they will send someone who knows if they did but nothing changed. Then I had to call the front desk again and with attitude the women claimed she sent someone and said she didn’t know what else I wanted her to do as if they didn’t have a sign in the room that says clearly no smoking allowed. Annoyed i asked them to handle it somehow. that is when they finally turned down the music next door the smell was still there but quiet for about 10 minutes then continued to do exactly what they were doing before. this place is a glorified frat house, waste of money and time and terrible service will never stay here again. most definitely do not bring children to this hotel with the lack of professionalism the staff has as well as the priority of their guests. Overall terrible experience.
