The library has definitely changed since the last time I visited. There is no separate computer room now, just lots of open space. The staff is still polite as ever. I really like the new layout of the library

Library is okay. I will not be coming back after this incident. My daughter always checks out books no problem, but when we tried to today there was a hold on my account for a damaged book. The book wasn’t in its best condition when we checked it out but since it was on the shelf we figured it was noted in the system. Well it wasn’t. Staff member stated we should be the ones responsible to point out damages before checking books out. After paying the price of the book. I will be closing my account. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

As I walked into the library, I had a few questions, but I quickly noticed that the staff seemed reluctant to assist. They appeared tired, uninterested, and even somewhat rude, which was evident on their faces. This really dampened my enthusiasm for exploring what the library had to offer. It looks like I’ll be searching for another library instead.

Library is small but this branch offers 2 hour slot times on Wednesdays and Thursdays for children’s block party/baby block party with legos and duplos. It is a good opportunity for your child to socialize and interact with other children. There is a fair amount and decent selection of children’s books.

We’ve recently moved to the area and since my 4year old is doing a lot better reading we decided to get library cards so my husband and i can get books for him. I’m giving it a two star because of its close proximity to our house other than that I would have given it a one star. It’s a bit much to have 6 people working at a library don’t you think Not only that but 6 people and not one of them even acknowledge me and my son standing there . The two ladies one in red and the other in the orange watch us walking towards the desk and just ignored us. So we walked all the way around and still no one said anything. The lady standing in the gray jacket turned around and looked at us and went back to her conversation while I stood there until the lady in the black and while shirt said I can help you here. They’re not very friendly and welcoming either.

My family and I love books. This location is close to the house so it's an easy trip. Leaving from there is a little hard. W. S. Young is a busy road. The staff here is not as helpful as the downtown location. If you're greeted when you come in, consider yourself lucky. Was followed around by one of the staff members during our entire visit. Makes things interesting nonetheless, but I'm not a fan. Why steal when you can borrow for free? 🤷‍♀️ The downtown location always informes you of different events the library is hosting. I like the location, but the staff is a bit unfriendly among other things. But please don't let that stop you. Go and enjoy your local libraries. It's free and literally limitless entertainment and knowledge.

We love the copper mountain library. It has a good location in Killeen, maybe the best library in the city. Books seem geared more for youths and kids, but there is still a good selection. The staff in the children's room especially are always cheerful, friendly, and helpful (Daisha and Rose, thank you so so much!) They pay attention to the kids and make it fun. My young daughter's face lights up whenever we come.

The library is on the smaller side, but has an area for computer use, a book drop, and a few tables for studying (although I'd probably go elsewhere to study given how youth-central the library is). Currently they are doing some construction but it's going to make the library better 🙂
