I really like the place actually and my son really enjoys doing sports in the gym. The ppl have all been really nice.
I know this is a small town but I am so confused why, while 3&4 yr old sports were going on in the gym that you thought it was a good idea to clean all the rest of the building with bleach?!! It was sooo strong it even gave me a headache and burnt my nose!
No proper ventilation with bleach can cause coughing and shortness of breath. Children are at a higher risk because their lungs are still developing. Breathing in high levels of chlorine gas can lead to fluid buildup in the lungs(phenomia )and can be fatal if left untreated. We had 3&4 year olds playing flag football in the gym while all this went down!
Furthermore I am on bioidentical hormone treatment and bleach is a hormone disruptor (ESC)
A byproduct of chlorine bleach, dioxins, can interfere with the hormone system and cause reproductive and developmental problems. Exposure to dioxins during pregnancy or lactation can delay breast development!(There was a breastfeeding mother in the gym)
Because I have health issues as well as my son, along with ADHD and autism, I am very careful about the chemicals and environment I expose us both to. This was very disturbing to say the least, and we both got sick later on that night
If your going to clean your building with Toxic chemicals please refrain from doing it while small toddlers (and infants) are there and with proper ventilation.
Thank you!

Love this spot when you’re toting kids around in the summer. Shady gazebos and beautiful historic buildings. My one con was not being able to find a restroom.

A small, well maintained, city park. Paved walking trails, flower beds by the local Garden Club, log cabins, turtle pond with a small rustic bridge over a wet weather creek. Public Restrooms available.
