2/28/23 - I signed a contract for a mobile home delivery and gave CMH a $15,000 deposit check.
8/2/23 - CMH estimates the stilt house will be completed in January 2024 and that they have completed 4 stilt houses. I later found out this was not true.
8/10/23 - CMH tells me that the permit has been applied for. After checking the permit website, I find out this is not true.
9/16/23 - I asked CMH who the engineer is so that I might follow up on the several-month delay. He sends me the contact information for Hobson SE in Seminole FL. I believe this was not true.
10/13/23 - I verbally and in writing, ask CMH to make SURE that all concrete is included in the contract price as my lot is 100% cement. He assures me that is correct.
10/24/23 - I met with Kenny Kinney in person to discuss timeline hold-ups.
11/27/23 - CMH says permit has been approved. Untrue.
2/27/24 - Permitting was finally approved after roughly 6 months.
4/3/23 - The concrete demo of the lot is started. The water line that runs through the property and out to the dock is broken. A rectangular pad is poured a few days later but the rest of the demolished concrete is left as dug-up dirt. Damaging my property.
4/24/24 - CMH calls me and says I must now pay in FULL or the project will come to a stop. I expressed concern about paying for a house that has not been ordered yet. I am coerced into paying $190,400.00.
5/14/24 - I inquire if the Townhomes modular order has been ordered yet. She says the house will take 4-6 weeks.
5/28/24 - I call and text Chris Johnson to inquire about the stilt timeline. He says 4-5 more weeks for stilts to be installed. He says he will not fix damaged cement.
5/31/24 - I call CMH and requested another in-person meeting with Kenny Kinney to discuss these growing issues.
6/5/24 - Kenny Kinney's assistant, Theresa, calls me back. She tells me that Kenny is too busy to meet with me.
As of 10/25/24 - CMH refuses to meet with me OR refund my $190,400.00. It has been 20 months now.

My parents purchased a double wide March of 2023. They were told they would be in it just in time for Thanksgiving of 2023. Now my dad is in hospice care and will never spend one night in his new home. It is 1/22/25 and the vacant mobile home has been sitting on their property since 5/1/24. The first permit that should’ve been pulled for the septic wasn’t pulled until November of 2024. But Ken has no idea what still needs to be done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We went to Central and spoke with Kenny about what they could do for us. We were deciding between a site built home or modular, in our case it made sense to go modular. Kenny set us up with a nice home and although it took a little longer due to hurricane Ian it got done the way we wanted it. He even worked with us on the size and extras we wanted. As with any home there are always going to be issues, we had a few and Jacobsen got right on it and fixed them all to our satisfaction. At the end of the day Kenny did more than what he said he was going to do at the price we agreed on and we love the home. Thanks Kenny!

Can someone tell me why my home that is 3years old has so many problems.when it rains water pours through the microwave and it has not worked for 2 years .and by the back door it has mildew and by the front door it doesn’t look good also there looks like water damage by the washing machine. I have video of the water pouring through the microwave

UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! If I could rate this company zero stars I would. My husband and I had our heart set on a Jacobson Home. We have been going out to this dealership for the past 3 years prior to Covid. We finally met with the new management twice and then we decided it was time to start the process. The third visit we took our realtor. We found a lender not knowing they had their own lending company because they never told us we paid them at least two more visits to see why they would not sign the builder approval letter and fax it...what are they hiding? It's been 3 months after they told us we were approved on their end and they refused to sign paperwork, return or even answer our calls. BAD BUSINESS!!! We are extremely disappointed! I cannot believe Jacobson would continue to do business with this dealer....Not to mention waste all of our time instead of communicating and being honest. My ten-year-old grandson can conduct better business than this and is far more courteous!

I would never buy from Central Mobiles Homes again. Once they get your money, they will not follow up with repairs or even return a phone call. I did get my mobile home set in a timely manner, but the quality of skirting is horrendous, they crushed my concrete parking spot & will not come remove the crushed concrete. I keep hearing, “we’ll get that next week”. I’ll have to pay to have my skirting replaced & concrete removed on my own.

I call this place the IDK OFFICE. NO ONE ever noes anything. From Kelly to the guy who worked there 30 years and the receptionist. No one can answer a question after you give your deposit. It's been 17 months on a modular on our own lot. Worst experience ever. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Another review. 21 MONTHS LATER AND STILL HAVENT FINISHED THE MANUFACTURE HOME. DNT LET THESE PEOPLE TALK YOU INTO GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY.THEY ALWAYS HAVE AN EXCUSE. THEYRE IN LABELLE BUT WOULD LEAVE YOUR HOME FOR LAST AND GO WORK IN FORT MYERS.
