This place was an amazing get away for me and my family! Kenny the owner was really helpful and friendly. I recommend anyone wanting to escape city life and feel off the grid, but still have WIFI, A.C a bed, shower, full kitchen cable t.v....... lol this is the place to go. Fits 2 kids and 2 adults perfectly. Kids in a loft and parents in their own bedroom with beautiful patio. 280 acres of land with a waterfall over looking a lake with beach area with hammock and swing for kids. Trust me this tree house is the place to make fun family memories.

This place is awesome! I went session 4 and I’m going this year again in session 4! It is so fun and the $1400 is TOTALLY worth it!

Both worked & attended camp here! Highly recommend! Lots of fun outdoor and adventure activities. The camp is designed to be small and feel like a family, which is great. The cabins are structured by age so that the level of activity and team building and conversation is designed for the age group. Every group gets to try all the activities, barring safety issues. There are also activities designed to engage the entire camp throughout the week! It's great!

This place is beyond incredible! The grounds are so beautiful and well taken care of! The trails are so pretty and surrounded by bamboo stalks and nature! The cabins are nice and each have their own bathroom with shower! The pirate ship is amazing - so much detail has gone into each aspect of this camp that it was impressive. My son has never been to sleep away camp and every single counselor there greeted him with a smile, by his name, and started chatting with him to make him feel at ease. Wonderful first experience and top notch staff and facility. Cannot say enough nice things about this place - your kids will not be disappointed.

Hands down the best camp to send your child. We moved out of the area but our daughter is begging to come back to Camp Winnamocka next year. She attended in Summer of 2017 & 2018. We now plan on signing her up in Summer of 2020.
The Camp welcomes every camper, the cool pirate ship, the whole atmosphere screams a kids dream Summer Camp. Honestly we wish we could be a kid & go to Camp Winnamocka.

I'm not even sure where to begin when it comes to Winnamocka......
This will be my fifth and final year attending session 6 and I am completely devastated. This camp has been the highlight of my summer ever since I have been attending. The counselors and campers that attend make me feel like I have known them for years, so nice. All of the fun-filled activites are nice, but I have made life long friendships with so many people from different states that I will cherish forever.
Great example of what a summer camp really is!
