I've only been going to the Calder Casino for about two months, and think their food there is decent. They only have two places where to eat there so don't expect a menu with many options. What I like most about the casino is that it's smoke free and it doesn't tend to be overcrowded on any given night.

Security is horrible at the casino, I was playing at a machine, another patron asked me to get out of the chair cause she wanted to play, security instead of checking that my machine and seeing I had over 40 dollars and was playing told me to get up. Another security came in and had to tell the other guard to leave me alone because I was playing and had money. I have come multiple times and spent lots of money. What a nasty experience, I’d probably not come back due to lack of common sense. There are too many casinos out there that will not treat patrons like that. Mind you there are a lot of homeless in the smoking area and they are not kicked out or were asked to leave or even stand up from the slot machines with no money in it.

The New Upgrade to Calder is great! Really like what was added... New Slot Games and the New Poker area just to name a few. Also, the update with the Restrooms. Just a great job!

We come here from Broward once or twice a month usually on Saturdays. It was always a nice experience until today. It's a non smoking facility & has an outdoor smoking area with a few machines. On the inside there was a homeless looking lady walking around asking patrons for money. Security was on their radios looking for her. Outside there's plastic bags on chairs with no one playing for hours & a man just sitting at a buffalo machine we'd like to play but he's just there talking to another guy about black and white history. Seems to be a place for people to come to just to get off the streets. And I get news from my fiance that there was a Spanish lady going around outside asking all the black guys for $5.
