I went in today November 30th from 12-1 pm and the two lady’s upfront were extremely condescending. One of them had a tattoo on their left ear is young and the other lady was mid-age and chubby. The point is my grandmother’s job gave their employees bears to take a Build A Bear Workshop and buy it clothes to then donate it to kids with cancer. It’s suppose to be a fun little contest at her job for the best dressed bear as well. but it’s not a bear from the shop so the ladies condescending said “ got a bear from home “ and had a smirk on their face and sort of laughed discreetly. Then asked us to stand on the other side of the counter because it looks awkward. I wasn’t paying so I stayed on that side and my grandmother moved. As she was about to pay she just took a minute to look at the price like any normal person would and the mid-age lady called my my grandmother “ honey “ as she said “ honey like this”… why would you call a customer “honey” it’s so condescending and unprofessional. Someone please talk to them and remind them about professionalism. All they have to do is greet a customer, help them during the check-out process, and call it a day. I think it is extremely unprofessional to make comments like this.

The lady that worked the morning shift today at the Escondido mall on 11-11-24 that helped my daughter stuff her kitty was literally the best employee I’ve ever met !! She was so soft spoken and gentle and she made my 2 year old daughter’s experience amazing !!! It was around 10:30 am l. Thank you

the staff were so pleasant and nice and helpful, it was my daughters birthday and they sang her happy birthday and made sure to make her feel special!! love the staff will be coming back every time! 10/10

The store just opened last week! (5/23/24) so excited to have them back in this mall!!!
(near Cheesecake Factory entrance) They have an exclusive hello Kitty and the staff were super sweet😍

Lack luster location full of staff always sitting around, very unorganized. Would not recommend. The drive to any other location is well worth it compared to this dump
