I cannot say enough about how awesome this shop is!

1- customer service- not only are they friendly but they’re all knowledgeable about the products they’re selling. Most of them play some version of magic , lorcana and flesh and blood to name some of the game variants.

2- BFG’s cards in stock have some of the best MTG singles I’ve seen out of the 5 shops I’ve visited in San Diego.

3 - They have a varied selection of snacks , sodas waters and energy drinks.

5- They have a TON of miniatures and the corresponding books for table top games.

there’s so much I can’t fit into a review but I will say the shop is clean, the people that show up to play at their tables pictured below are good folks that will usually take anyone into a POD regardless of skill level.

One a last note shout out to eddy , richard , crystal and Shaun for being my favorites 🤷🏽‍♂️😂

This place has a great selection for MTG related things. Great variety of booster packs available, lots of singles which you can buy online and pick up there. They have all the dragon sleeves. Plenty of cool dice, mats, etc… inside is roomy and clean and there seems to be a good amount of tables for playing. The staff has always been nice to me and I feel happy to shop here.

Amazing casual commander experience almost every Saturday. I haven't been other days of the week but Saturday is busy as soon as they open.

If you're a MTG player please try to support them so we can keep this community intact.

Lots of other great board games for sale here at reasonable prices too.

One of my favorite game stores in the area. Crowd is relatively diverse for a game shop. I like that the big windows give light into the whole gaming area so it doesn't feel like you're in a hole all day.

Kinda shady practice.
Went for the Black Friday deal, bought a innistrad draft booster 30% off with another 10% off for military discount and a duskmourn collector box.
The price of the innistrad box was about the same as you’d buy it online, after all those discounts (40%). The base price of the box is $129.99 in store, $95 on Amazon, and $83 on TCGplayer player. The price I bought it for in store, ~$78.
Felt extremely dishonest. Not exactly a deal as it would seem.
Disappointing cause I’ll always prefer supporting a brick and mortar store and the community they cultivate, but it felt like something I would never expect from a well respected store like this one.
If you’d like to support the location, all power to you.
If you want to spend less buying boxes, online might be your best bet.
Or just buy singles.
(Some packs look damaged in box but that may just be a manufacturer defect)

I came in tonight looking to get my husband a few MTG packs and didn’t enjoy my experience. I haven’t been into the store because I don’t play myself. Eddie was very blunt and I was taken back by how he approached me and spoke to me. Unfortunately, I will not be back in to purchase anything again because of this visit.

Update: I tried again because they’re having their blackfriday sale. I can not thank Declan enough for their help! Again I do not know anything about MTG, but they offered help and we ended up getting some good pulls out of a collector booster pack that they recommended! I did avoid Eddie’s line though.

Very disappointed with the way we were treated. My friends and I came down from very far to visit our friend who lived in San Diego and were having a good time playing magic with them. We were having a great time until we were rudely told to pack up our things. We were sitting at a table that was going to be used for a draft or something similar to it, so I understand that we had to move, but to raise your voice for all to hear throughout the store and say, “Hey, you 6 need to clean up your things now.” was embarrassing and ruined an almost perfect day. We didn’t bother to change our tables, we just packed up our things and left. I hope this isn’t how service typically is because this experience was bad enough for me to leave this review.

Friendly staff with a variety of things to appeal to everyone. Website is easy to navigate and they have a fantastic list of tcg singles to purchase. I try to purchase from them when I can for my tcg addiction.
