We came in to buy some hats for winter and ready to spend. We got absolutely no help from the staff, our humble appearance and my husbands tattoos made it easy for them to profile and assume we didn’t have money to shop. All the sales associates ignored us, had us find our own hat sizes (using the hat stick ourselves to find our own hat sizes all while being ignored) and refused to answer any of our leather treatment questions. They literally refused to sell us items to preserve the items and told us they dont sell them as we could see them behind the counter. At The POS the service workers refused to make eye contact and made sure we knew we were not worthy pf their efforts and assistance

I love these boots..im going to get them again too.. I've been to the three surrounding area locations Modesto, Turlock, Manteca amd every single time i get the best customer service around. These im sticking too. Honestly the best work boot ive ever seen amd owned. I have worn Red wings to wolverine to Hawlk and ARIAT are top shelf boots ,just modify with your favorite insoles and your feet will be singing lol.

Kassandra is the best. She helped me and my daughter with making sure we were properly fit into our boots. She explained “in detail” how our boots should fit, what to expect (when putting our boots on), and how to stretch them out to get the perfect fit. She also solved problems we presented her with. Kassandra knows her stuff. I’ve never had a store clerk at a shoe or clothing store be so sweet, helpful, genuinely concerned, and professional all at the same time. The major plus was having me use the boot jack and showing us how to use it. That thing’s an amazing little tool! Thank you, Kassandra!! I’ll be asking for her the next time I go in there and need help. The five stars are specifically for her.

The only negative is when my daughter and I went to go pick up her boots, there was some short and round brunette that made a stupid and snide remark. I’m guessing she may be a manager or some type of lead person. Whatever position she holds, she was rude and unprofessional. She must’ve come from the Modesto store where they’re very horrible and rude.

I took my grandfather to Boot Barn yesterday and Daniel gave us brilliant customer service. This is my first time visiting any Boot Barn. Daniel took his time and helping my old grandfather find boots for horse riding & a cowboy hat. Plus other accessories. Thank you Daniel for your help and especially because my grandfather is 81.

I went in to the store on my lunch break, just to check on a specific pair of Boots (which they had), and upon entering the store I was acknowledged and greeted by the employees. Immediately Natalie, an awesome employee approached me stating "You look like you know what you are looking for".. and I did, she then stated that if I had any questions about anything else to feel free to ask her. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. Not pushy and very easy to talk to. She is the reason I came back after work and purchased the boots. ( She was off when I returned, but she is the reason I was there) We had also discussed hats. She has great taste and style. I will return to purchase a hat, and anything else I may want to purchase. She is an absolute Gem.. Keep her around.

They have work clothes there which is a plus as well as work boots. Very nice staff. A lot more diverse selection of items than I thought.

Today I went in at around 4:30pm and shopped around for about 30 minutes or so. Well, Although it was one of the nicer boot barns I've been to in terms of cleanliness, I thought the staff was very distasteful. The girls at the counter kept talking about personal business and kept making dirty jokes about whoever they were dating and being obnoxiously loud about it and made no attempt to not let any customers hear, even as I made my purchases. I almost felt as if I was shopping at Suzie's. The managers were being very unprofessional, one was blatantly flirting with the security officer standing at the front door and the other was pawning her tasks off to a different employee and just being unnecessarily rude to her staff. I'm not one to give a bad review on other reasons beside the store not being properly kept but the staff was super unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome a bit. I don't know if I'll be returning.
