Very affordable entertainment option if staying at the hotel, local, or traveling through and you need a break.
Arcade Games cost an equivalent of about $1.
Good food from the snack bar (they serve alcohol too), in fact, the cook actually asked how I liked it?!
The great level of service continued when, and I didn't catch his name, another employee generously rounded up his ticket redemption for some prizes. There are certainly many great casinos along the CA coast, but the BRFEC made staying at Bear River C.R. a 5- star experience.

Love this place! The pizza is yummy and it's tons of fun. There's lots to do for those who do not want to bowl as well.

Had to wait approximately 40min to get a bowling lane but there was a kid's party going on so maybe it was too full the day we went. There aren't many arcade machines and some are broken or missing things but it was fun anyway!

Loads of fun for the family. Arcade is a bit expensive, but still a fun treat for the kids

The building istelf is really nice and newer which can be a vit of a let down once you actually get inside as the experience is fairly lack luster and leaves a lot to be desired. Very small aracde area & The 2 of the best arcade games are almost always out of order, which for such a small arcade it really can't be like that. It really limits the kids. Its nice to have the option of going here for us families with little kids, as we dont have a tone of places like this in our area for the kids, but they really need to make sure their arcade games are working so you can fully enjoy your time and the money you're spending to have access to it. It's kind of an overrated Chuck-E-cheese IMO. It's also incredibly hard to book a birthday party as they barely make any attempt to call you back. They also have a tendency to double book which is just incredibly bad business practice, especially for what they charge you. You're better off just showing up with a group to hang out instead of being overcharged for a "Party" and then getting cut short on the time you payed for because they double booked the party space. Which is one of the the smallest party spaces ever btw. Some of the staff is wonderful while a lot of the others are incredibly rude and seem to not want to be there. Overall, it's an ok space, nice to have for a family outing, but not a place to have above and beyond expectations and experiences.

Not well organized, forgot to reserve a table for the birthday party we made a month in advance reservations for. Food was terrible and the lemonade was mixed with Pepsi. They just dumped food on the table, didn't check to see if anything was needed. Far too expensive for the service promised and vastly lacked.

Bad management. Most of the workers give a horrible impression to new paying customers. Not professional what so ever. The people in charge don’t know what they are doing. Would rate it a zero if I could.

I wasn't there personally. My caregiver took my son for a birthday party. He had a great time, but he lost his phone. People stayed way after the birthday party searching but they couldn't find it. Later that day we got a call because they had found a phone. They asked my son some questions and he determined that it wasn't his. We waited and waited. We called a few times. We finally gave up and got him a new phone. They called 3 days later. They had found his phone under one of the bowling lanes. I very much appreciate them for calling him when they found the first phone, even though it wasn't his. But I really appreciate them keeping his info for so long and getting ahold of us right away. Not all businesses and/or employees would have done that. Obviously, he has his new phone now, but because of Bear River Family Fun Center, we have his old one for when he loses the new one.
