Where do I begin, Baby Sign Language with Monta is by far the most educational and useful class that we took with our child. We started when she was around 11 months old, and she has learned over 20 signs during our time there. It took a while for her to start, but then she was picking up several new signs each week. Our baby was able to sign to us long before they typically talk, and it avoided a lot of frustration which is common for children at this age. Monta's class is fun for babies and parents, I truly enjoyed learning the signs and strategies myself. For parents who only have time and/or finances for 1 class with their child, I would recommend Monta's Baby Sign Language class without a doubt. It's not only a super fun and social class for making parents/ baby friends but also an educational activity that can be put to great practical use in your family!

Monta's sign class was such a joy for me and my child! Like other parents I enjoyed the experience of learning the signs myself and it really opened up the communication with my daughter. She has been able to express thoughts and ideas that I never would have known she was capable of at this age. We started when she was 6 months and took all three sessions. I would estimate that she now has close to 100 signs, and she continues to learn even after attending the class. She loved going every week to interact with other kids, enjoy the music and do parachute! I highly recommend this class to parents.

We had a tremendously positive experience taking Monta's class! We started when my little one was 6 months, and finished all 3 levels because we both loved it and learned so much. Monta is wonderful with babies and toddlers, she makes each lesson engaging and fun. I was pleasantly surprised at how many signs my little one picked up (and STILL uses to this day at 24 months!). It helped him communicate early and continues to help him express himself today. I would recommend any parents and caretakers to bring their littles to Baby Sign Language Basics. Cannot write enough good things!

We have had a wonderful experience with Monta’s classes for two kids now! Between the second and third levels of class, our first kid started signing around 10 or 11 months old and it made such a difference to be able to know what he was thinking about! We signed our second baby up as soon as he was old enough, and he can already do a few signs at 9 months. Great, fun class!

Monta is a wonderful teacher with a wealth of knowledge about using ASL to communicate with babies. My child and I attended for several levels of her courses in person and have gained so much. Monta does a great job modeling how to introduce signs that help communicating basic needs and fun, motivating signs. When we had to miss class, we were able to watch online. We also received a great reference book that goes along with the course with many pictures/explanations of signs.Thank you, Monta!

My son and I went through all three baby sign classes and absolutely loved both the in-person and online formats. We were in the middle of our second in-person class when the pandemic hit and Monta's resourcefulness switching to online classes almost immediately was fantastic. She was outstanding at making sure all the families felt that they were getting the best experience possible. The way that she embraced the online format and made the classes fun and engaging for little ones at home was outstanding. Especially in the early days of the pandemic our baby sign language classes with Monta were the highlight of our week. We had a great experience learning sign language with Monta Z. Briant at the Baby Garten Studio! My baby girl was 8 months at a time and the whole atmosphere of the class was very entertaining for her. Monta is very professional, fun and knows how to make the class interesting for babies and for parents as well. The Studio and all the toys are very clean, also there is a restroom with changing table available. My daughter now is 17 months old and uses a lot of signs in attempt to express herself.
I am very happy that I attended Baby Sign Language Basics. Highly recommended!

My 11 month old daughter just finished 8 weeks of Baby Sign Language Basics, and we loved it! The class was so good for her in many ways, and it gave us an activity to enjoy together every week. We will continue to use and build upon the signs we learned in class. My daughter is still on the young end for signing back to me, but can already sign when she wants milk or to tell me she wants more 🙂 Our teacher was wonderful, really knew her stuff, and made the class super fun. I looked forward to it every weekend. As a bonus I got to watch my little girl interact socially with the other babies in the class, which was priceless, and so important for her development. I'd highly recommend this class to all parents.
