We want to thank Brandi Morton at Austin Bank of Kilgore for advising us on better funding practices and helping us secure a loan. This is our 5th year operating a store, and with help like Brandi's, we are working toward our goal of becoming profitable so that we can build something that may outlive us in Historic Downtown Kilgore. I’ve only had this bank for 3 weeks and I’m already closing it and moving on to another one. I had to reopen my account, they wouldn’t take the card I was trying to reopen the account with because it didn’t have my card, no other banks do this. I had to go back and forth to several people because nobody knew anything. I was only trying to get my paycheck to just go buy groceries and formula. The lady that told me to come back in an hour and my paycheck would be in there, was no where to be seen whenever I came back 3 hrs later. None of the tellers know anything about how to actually do their job. Not to mention their banking app sucks. Like? Come on? I recommend Chase bank to anyone looking for one.

The worst customer service on the planet it says 24/7 customer support, but I have called every day for a month and it says unavailable. It’s also the only bank in the entire world that you cannot call and check your balance because they want me to go to the ATM and charge you five dollars to check your balance.

I have run my LLC accounts through Austin Bank for a couple of years now. They make it easy to deal with some of the unique characteristics of the contract work I do. I appreciate the local aspect of the bank as well!

If i could put Zero stars i would! My husband went today to Austin Bank in Kilgore where he has been going for the past couple of weeks to cash his check with his passport with no problem whatsoever. Today the lady told him he would no longer be able to cash checks there with a passport. She spoke in his language and told him he may could find other people there that would cash it for him but that she no longer would until he had a state issued I.D. We have experienced lots of descrimination do to peoples political opinions but we have never been turned away in this way. I will make a call to the head office and pursue any legal actions possible for descrimination. I know for a fact that it is absolutely legal to use his passport to cash a check and well within their policy seeing as though he has cashed his check there before with no problem! This bank should be ashamed to employee such people.

We have been with Austin Bank almost 10 years. We have been very happy with the online banking and I use the mobile app often. I haven't been inside this location but the drive thru tellers are always nice.

Dont believe the information on Google. It says the bank is open on Saturdays, but when you get to the door, you'll find that only the drive thru is open. Go to East Texas Professional Credit Union instead. Their lobby is actually open on Saturdays.

Austin Bank is thorough not flashy. I like it, trust it, & intend to be there for the long haul. BTW, it's only a few minutes from my house which is convenient
