Beautiful place. Staff was nice. One of my clients has been taking her pottery there for years and has always raved about it. I haven’t taken a class yet but my experience looking around and walking through was great. I’ll be back !

We brought our 5 year old here for art classes. She loved it. And great encouraging teachers! All staff super friendly!

*** update. Our daughter is now 9 and just finished some summer weeks of art camp and still a hit! The classes she was in are from kids ages 6 to 10 with many kids so just realize not all kids have the maturity yet to sit and follow through with all their pieces. It's not a one on one experience. But they will make friends and they will have great instructors/ helpers!🙂

It's a lovely building. They have some nice art for sale. I tried to take 2 classes here. One that was several weeks long and had a long list of required supplies needed for the first day of class was canceled the day before the class. This was ridiculous to cancel with less than 24 hour notice. The reason given was not enough people signed up for the class. They had to know this longer than 24 hours before the first class.

The second class did go ahead. It actually wasn't much of a class. The instructed, Mr Camp, acted liked he would rather be anywhere but in that class. He just came out and said he would show us new people a couple of things to get started then if we had questions to ask. He was rude and condescending to me and by an hour into the class I realized I had wasted my money. This is NOT a beginners class. It is a time that anyone can pay to attend and if you are the new person you'll maybe get lucky and have another person in class teach you what to do. I was told to watch lots of YouTube videos. Yeah, no thanks. Just beware. If you already have an idea this might work for you. If you are a complete newbie and never touched cly before, beware you may as well watch You Tube videos and save the cash.

***** My Reply to ArtCenter***** I will not go back to your center. I wasted enough money on a class that was led by an instructor who didn't care and was rude. I lost all the money I spent on supplies that I could not return for the canceled jewelry class for two people. No one ever contacted me after I only went to one clay hand making class,. That just showed that I made the right decision to cut my losses. I had such a poor experience I never even mention your center when people ask for things to do.

Can't say enough about this place. As a member student for over a year now I have been able to learn from magnificent teachers. Pottery...Sandra and Jewelry...Donna. Both of these teachers have taught me so much and made taking their classes a joy. The Director Carla and the Staff are wonderful. Gallery exhibits are outstanding and the events are a blast. It is my pleasure to be a member and to volunteer here in addition to taking classes.

The art exhibits are wonderful to peruse. They have the best gift shop and this weekend is the student/staff pottery sale with appealing choices for home or as unique gifts.

My son took his first drawing class tonight with Janet, and it was more than we could have hoped for. He learned so much. She was able to teach and critique him while being supportive and making him excited to progress. He can't wait for the next class already! Fantastic experience 💙
