I bought an inflatable boat from Amazon. I wanted to register my boat, but they asked me for things I don't have or can't get. Like a receipt with the hull number. Not on an Amazon receipt. No way to get what they want. This is essentially a blow up toy with less than 1/2 horsepower engine. The person I dealt with at the office was unsympathetic and not helpful. I will sell the trolling motor and just use the oars. Last time I deal with this department.

This morning at 2 AM I had a bear on my back porch. Bob the Fish and Game guy talk me thru a scary situation. He then planned to come our and set a bear trap, when the neighbors stated they had seen the bear a few minutes ago. Bob was in comunication with us every step of the way. He caught the bear safety and put it in his trap and took care of the situation. Bob is great at his job. Thank you so much Bob.

We recently had a deer on our property that became trapped in the neighbors fence. Unfortunately the top wire of the fence is barb wire and the doe got a leg caught in it. I called the Game Warden and she showed up within 15 minutes at 815am. She asked me to help her. It was a great experience to be up close to an animal and help it. Luckily it was just sore and limped out of the yard a few hours later. Needless to say, the barb wire will be coming down (I did not put it up).

Very friendly staff who obviously cared about the local wildlife. Their number will now be in my phone just in case. We get all kinds of animals roaming through. My favorites are the skunks. Who knew they moved so slow? No wonder the poor animals are always run over. We also get road runners, one bear in the past three years, rabbits galore, stupid cows, and ground hogs galore. I love the rural town.

These deer always cross my property and I have seen the little ones miss the fence jump at night. This incident just proved to me that barb wire is not needed on our property.

Thanks again for the help. Glad we did not have to shoot it...although...they are tasty!

Please go see them and take your kids just walking in is educational and cool for all ages. Plus they have a nice trail right behind that isn't too long that everyone must see. Please support you local fish and game. They do more for the community then you know.
