Very pleasant experience at this store, a gentleman named Ahmad helped me with a lengthy trade in process and got me going with a nice new computer without complaint. Quick, easy and with a smile!

It’s two days before Xmas and I wanted to get a last minute gift so I was place a phone order with a Bay Street Apple Employee. I checkout over the phone and was told the order will be ready for pickup in 25 minutes. Great! Wrong! I arrive at the Bay Street Apple store and the employee said 1. the order doesn’t populate in our system but she is reading my order number verbatim?and 2. please come back when order is ready. I told them the associate over the phone said it will be ready in 25 mins, gift wrapped and everything. Wrong again! So I wait in my car for an hour and was on the phone with support to get the process expedited. I come back after an hour to see a sea of red shirt associates standing around chit chatting to each other. In my head I think Okay there’s someone here that can help with my order. WRONG! The first associate I talk to said I would have to call a DIFFERENT apple support number to check my order status. What? You’re telling me there’s a 100 of you in this store that can’t help me with my order? This associate spoke to me like a live chat agent telling to call support when support should at this store that i’m standing on. Not to mention, The associate gets frustrated and walks away from me. I was still on hold with support and they said I have to keep waiting. Keep in mind it has

Disappointed in the staff at this location, they were rude and condescending. I love Apple products and I'm a lifelong purchaser (macbooks, iphones, partner has an apple watch, etc) so it won't be a deterrent from my brand loyalty, but parking at this store sucks and with the staff being far less helpful and pleasant than other locations, save yourself the hassle and go to 4th street location in Berkeley. Store appeared clean and tidy (it's an apple store, duh!) and there was a local cop and cruiser posted up outside to deter theft.

Came in to get iPad cracked screen fixed. They said they had appointments in 20 minutes. Waited an extra 30. Technician comes out and immediately says they don’t fix iPad screens and they aren’t fixable. Said I would need to buy a new one and then tried to additionally upsell to a newer generation + Apple Care.

Why not just tell people up front you don’t repair ipads?

Went to random iPhone repair store instead because I guess they’re more capable and can fix it for less than half the replacement cost.

I came in at 3pm with a phone that was unable to connect to WiFi cellular or Bluetooth. I waited an hour for an appointment, which they then told me they could fix the device by 6pm for $500. I approved this and left. Came back at 6 and had to ask multiple times if my device was ready for pickup. After talking to the third employee, I was told they were unable to fix my device and I needed to either wait till Monday or go to another store to get one. All of which were about to close and also I was unable to get to since the current phone was broken. At this point I asked if I were to purchase a new phone if they would be able to get me up and going. They said yes and I purchased an iPhone 6 pro for $1200 hoping to leave the store shortly after and move on with my life. However no one was able to assist me with 1)setting up my new phone or 2) activate cellular on the new phone. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of upfront honesty and support in what I feel like should not be a difficult situation. I constantly felt upsold and as soon as I payed money employees left me to deal with my situation on my own. I finally left after I was left alone with no one to help me and was able to get my phone updated on my own using my laptop later in the evening. In general I’m greatly upset by the employees not knowing the limitations of their abilities and wasting my time in every situation except when I was holding my credit card.

Beware. They will tell you your device has liquid damage immediately, and for no reason. Some of the worst customer service I've ever had. My Face ID stopped working out of the blue on Saturday on my iphone 13 pro max. My phone has been babied. I always keep it at least 50% charged and I've never even been caught out in the rain with it. The most moisture its ever been exposed to is sitting on the counter in my bathroom while I shower. This is a phone that's rated to 6' deep for 30 minutes. Within 5 minutes of seeing my phone they told me it hadwater damage, pointing to some lint around the outside of the camera, which everyone has from carrying their phone in their pocket. Then they refused the repair (they said the Face ID camera failed) for water damage saying that the repair technician found a water damage tripped detector. I asked them to show me, as I was dubious and they pointed the light at the strip in the sim slot and said it would be red if its exposed to water. It was white, clear as day. I asked them if the tech even checked inside my phone, they couldn't confirm. I don't even think the tech looked at my phone. All in all, my phone is still broken, I wasted 3 hours today, and I've spent about 12 hours since Saturday trying to get my phone fixed because Apple's hardware broke on a 3 year old phone out of the blue. After being a loyal Apple customer for more than 15 years with many Apple devices, I'm incredibly frustrated that this is how Apple treats their customers.
