It was my first time to this AMC and if you have never been there is on the third floor inside the mall. The recliners are comfortable and have a little table to place your popcorn 🍿 and soda 🥤 or snacks….. I would recommend coming to check it out.

Love this theatre, very relaxed and low key. Always have the best service here. There's also something really exciting going up that escalator to escape the real world for a bit.

So let me give a full review. Do understand though, when I rate theaters, I'm holding them to the experience as well as the service. The cleanliness and the seating is just as important. I'm a major AMC goer and supporter.

Arrival : In a mall, yet feels very out of place. The greeting quarters is just some escalators and a few electronic ticket machines. Not a theater vibe I was hoping, nor one that AMC is often known for.

Snacks: The concession and bar are immediately accessible. Which is a good thing.

Bathrooms: solid and fairly clean. Tons of stalls, super good.

Theater screens: DINE-IN is the fancier watching experience so that's what I went for. From Alamo Draft House, to Cinemark to AMC, this needs to be on point. The screen was smaller than most, but the tables didn't interfere with viewing, so I would say it's a major plus.

Seats: Comfy and no complaints with cleanliness. The reclined too after a food coma.

Service: On time, like to the minute. Can't complain as I asked for two waters and the gave two complimentary Dasanis. Nice!

Food: This is where it should count. They came out in to-go boxes, which is fine. Easier to clean I imagine. The Royal Bacon Brie Burger was very tasty and filled me to the brim. A little dissatisfied with the two patties needed to make on thick patty. Kind of a cheap way of making the burger, but the sweet flavor was pretty good. Loaded fries, a must. Chopped Cobb Salad, mediocre and felt store bought. Overall, it's average. I can't complain as it was what it was. 6/10 points I suppose.

Cons: it just didn't feel like a movie experience. I could have done with a few things not meeting expectations, but going to a theater and feeling like I'm paying way too much for a vibe that feels like a fast food theater, isn't really that fun. I'd prefer the entrance to remind me why Im there paying top dollar.

I'd say this AMC is sufficient but I'd probably never go back as it doesn't meet the moving going experience needed for what I grew up on.

Oh My God I so fell in love with this place! Super Nice and very comfortable seats that lay back and the staff always patient and kind , they have it that they will bring your purchase to your seat for you the drinks has never been watery like some places always taste like it should so that tells me their staff is on it about making sure the customers never have to say it don't taste right then wait while someone come take care of it We have Excellent Experience every single time we go. My autistic daughter loves it also and we always feel joy and happiness the while there and for the rest of our day during and after going to this Theatre. The quality and Service here is Excellent in every way from walking in, The Movie and sound, Popcorn and Candy always good never stale and the Service and care they put into it this Theatre is Excellent in every way making it a great experience everytime we go there.

The experience was great! It didn't matter if you got there a bit late because there were 20 minutes of previews. I saw the Red One matinee. I truly enjoyed this movie!! The picture quality was excellent, and the sound was great! My only complaint is how cold they keep the theatre. I had on a hoodie, jacket, and gloves. Other than that, it was an almost perfect outing.

Had a great experience at this AMC location when I visited recently. Used to be my childhood movie theatre back in the 90s/early 2000s. The recliner chairs are very comfortable and I love that they converted this one to a dine-in. All the food we ordered was really good and made-to-order, and we of course, enjoyed the movie as well. Great location to go if you drive; parking is 100% free since it's inside of the Southbay Galleria on the 3rd floor. 16 auditoriums so it's one of the larger locations. Used to have an arcade section inside back when I used to come here in the 90s/2000s, but it's gone now. Unfortunately the fate of this location is unknown when considering it's inside of a now-dying mall. If the mall ever goes down, this location will go with it. Wondering if the mall will ever get a renovation like Del Amo Mall did years ago. It's way overdue. But with so many malls dying across America, probably less likely now. Still, it was nice to reminisce. Maybe we'll come back here again soon for another movie night. Was worth the drive.

“Rethinking My Theater Experience: Poor Service and Inconsistent Policies”

I’m questioning whether I’ll continue going to my local theater because of a series of frustrating experiences with their customer service. Two months ago, the kitchen accidentally swapped my barbecue wings with the buffalo wings of the person sitting next to me during Alien: Romulus. By the time we realized the mix-up, we had already eaten from each other’s plates—an awkward situation for two strangers. When I brought it up, the cashier mentioned the kitchen was new but said they couldn’t offer a refund or remake, which felt unreasonable.

On another occasion, as an A-List member, I ordered my usual half caramel, half traditional popcorn, but they told me I could only get a refill for the traditional half, even though I paid for both. It made me feel like I was wasting money.

The final straw was when I had a $7 coupon for a small drink and popcorn combo. A sweet, new employee couldn’t scan it due to a technical issue and suggested I buy them separately at full price—defeating the purpose of the discount.

The staff seems inexperienced and uninterested in customer satisfaction. I’ve decided to try the Marina del Rey location instead, where I had a much better experience with respectful and professional service.

Seats was good . Service lines for food was just slow and it's repetitive so assuming it would run a lil faster so we can get to our seats . I ordered the churros and the buffalo wings. The wings were great enough heat maybe an extra ranch for comfort lol but great. The churros on the other hand I didn't not like. The taste was not giving cinnamon and sweet crunch with soft inside. Even thoe the inside has a filling it was too much filling for me and it was thick .
