I've been buying bikes and gear here for about 10 years. Exceptional service before and more importantly after the sale. Do not go anywhere else for bike sales and service! Adventures edge has modern gear with old school customer service.

The man who fixes the bikes was extremely rude to my children and I today. I would have been quite offended except he was equally rude to the couple after me in line, also. We were in need of a flat tire bike repair with small children and he tried to kick us out, told us to go elsewhere, simply because he was flustered . Extremely unprofessional and mean. He embarrassed me in front of my children. It was highly inappropriate. I was extremely patient as I have small children with me. The worker was insanely rude and should be fired. This shop must have very LOW STANDARDS. THEY OWE ME AN APOLOGY AND THEIR REPLY IS INSULTING. SHAME ON THIS SHOP. Watch the footage on your cameras! That man was extremely rude to a perfectly kind, calm customer. Again, shame on that sad, obscure shop.

Some of the best customer service I've ever gotten. Walked in just to get a couple spare inner tubes for my bike, and ended up feeling comfortable asking a bazillion questions to the very knowledgeable and extremely helpful bike repair guy (Ernest? Arnest? I'm horrid with names) who seemed just genuinely interested in making sure I got all the answers I needed and sharing his love of biking. I bought a few "extra" safety and maintenance items for my upcoming bike touring. Highly recommend this store. Wish I was a local and not just passing through so that this could me my new favorite store.

Our first stop was Adventure's Edge in Arcata. They called this store to confirm they had a tandem sit-on-top kayak like we were looking for in stock. First of all, we are so happy we found what we are looking for locally, because another company we had ordered a kayak from had just told us they did not have a reliable way to deliver to the area. We were about to give up hope about being able to get what we wanted anytime soon. Second, staff were incredibly helpful in answering questions about what we needed to get in order to safely transport the kayak on top of our SUV. They helped us find the right products specific to our vehicle, roof rack, and the kayak we were buying. They also made sure we had accessories we needed (like paddles of the right length), without ever feeling pushy. Finally, they actually installed the kayak carrier on our vehicle and secured the kayak for us, all the while talking us through what they were doing so we would know how to do it ourselves later. Talk about full service! I couldn't be more pleased. We are new to the area and look forward to shopping here more in the future!

The entire team at both Adventure’s Edge locations were highly professional, experienced, and friendly. I had 2 bikes that needed unique care and parts. The bike technicians quickly and expertly solved the problems. The team also helped me with several other gear issues having in stock many high quality items. Scott was particularly helpful in selecting a bike for my daughter and dealing with ebike technical issues.

My derailleur cable snapped, leaving me stranded. Adventure’s Edge’s bike mechanics got me all fixed up in no time with a smile. What a big help!! I highly recommend this place; they have a lovely selection of bike and adventure items with excellent service.

Super knowledgeable folks here! I am touring on my bike and was able to stop in and get seen right away. They looked at my bike, showed me what the problem was, and talked to me about mechanics and basic maintenance I should be doing. Highly recommend.
