This Ace Hardware rounded up my change of .70 cents without asking when I was cashing out. I know it's only less than a dollar, but it's the principle of not asking. I noticed when I looked at my receipt once I got home. Plus, it's tough out here these days. Every dollar truly does count.

Besides, I'm pretty sure when you donate through a business. The money rarely even goes to the cause that you're actually donating, too.

Mike was very helpful and attentive. He helped us find the stuff we needed in a price we wanted. The store has a lot of stock, but it is a bit snug. There's enough room to walk around comfortably, but I couldn't say whether you could get a wheelchair through. Their selection is excellent.

EDIT: The cashiers always have the worst attitudes from their little barstool. It must be so tough providing the absolute bare minimum in customer service requirements. That said, I originally forgot to mention that I did find Manny to be exceptionally helpful and patient. His positive attitude made the lackluster check-out that much more painful.

I do very much appreciate the fact that my local store operator has responded here and plans to address my problem head on. I rarely leave bad reviews, it pains me every time. Having them rectified means the world!

Upon entering the store I asked where the item in question was located was told aisle nine, went to aisle 9 looked up and down aisle 9 five minutes at least nothing even close to the item in question. No one came to ask me for help despite there being three employees in the store and only two customers. On my way out I mentioned to the guy that it was not on the aisle, and I didn't see anything like it. but he was busy shoving a donut in his mouth as I walked out the door. Guess I shouldn't have come in at snack time my bad.

Ace always lives up to being the helpful place. Every time I go there, the folks are eager and willing to help me find whatever it is I need. Most recently Jaden had me in and out within five minutes. These folks are amazing!
