Wasted time and money when i called in and one of the sons answered. I asked if they were willing to trade my truck for some silver and when we finally made the drive down there the owner decided they never wanted it to begin with even though his son assured me they were interested in my deal and he had talked to the owner to verify. They tried lowballing so hard like they could only sell my truck for 1k when I've never seen a truck outside their lot selling for less than a few grand easy. They used to be good we have bought from them many times in the past but now that the sons are getting more involved the place is quickly going downhill. After I get my stuff out of pawn I'll never be going back. Fast cash in wasilla is a much better option and they are honest people there.

Any reviews saying this place lowballs obviously has garbage to offer. This shop has been nothing but great to me and friends of mine that have been here. Great people that know and love what they do. Best pawn shop in town hands down.

Had a bad experience with the owner of this place i went to go pay for my pawns that I used to make a loan previously i had pawned my daughters iPad and two handgun magazines in a different day and when I went to go pay for my loan my handgun magazines were up for sale and I confronted the owner about it and they tried to kick me out with out my items and he was being rude and raised his voice at me not a professional manner or a i am sorry out of him professional rip off owner and I tried to pay for my stuff through a employee and he was responding to me that I had to say sorry to the owner even if I was not being rude I was just trying to get my stuff back because they were not worth the money they loaned me 15 dollars for the to magazines will worth over hundred dollars new for both and 150 dollars for iPad bad business planning on making a report to better business bureau for my bad experience here.

I'm finally just posting. Pardon My Rant - But after multiple visits, simply because they're close, I give up & it's a long time coming!!!

So, The older “cool guy” that seems to run this store with (I'm assuming) his very unenthused 20 something boys working for him puts off a very elitest vibe the moment you walk in. They offer no kind or helpful customer service what so ever.
If they do grace you with taking your peasant garbage - They are going to offer you insultingly low offers for valuable items you likely cherish, wether for buy or loan. and if you're lucky to get an offer at all, they might offer something like they did me in this example…one of a few I did with them, offering me only $20, for a $340 (retail price) BT Marley Speaker system, as I was offered Ina time of dire need. But most the time it's just nope - $0! ! I know how the pricing in these types of stores works. They don’t give you but a quarter of the retail price if you’re lucky typically but that’s far from what I got on any trip there and every time I left with them.just looking down their noses at you like you're lowlifes, as you awkwardly and quietly leave in a cloud of shame for having to accept treatment like that. Having absolutely NO regard of consideration to what situation brought you to a store like theirs. Which quite frankly I don’t proudly go to in times like that! Chances are you’re there when you truly are having a life emergency!!
They offer literal pennies to the dollarr, and are over priced on their resealable merchandise compared to other pawn shops. I do not recommend bringing them your business, wether buying OR selling, to these guys. They simply don't deserve what they have or appreciate their clients/community. I really recommended as business owners to remember where you come from/started and how you got that super cool pinky ring and sweet Affliction belly shirt.? Because the attitude just reeks of a holier-than-thou bunch that I personally refuse to subject myself to when spending my hard-earned dollars, especially these days.
Go to FAST Cash, they're way nicer, helpful and even possibly, humble folks that have earned my respect and repeat business.
This is Just my experience. But take it for what it's worth. I'm very easy going and kind until you are disrespectful repeat offenders. Then I'll let the truth out about how you are…. The truth always comes out!

Great selection of different items. Very negotiable and friendly. I was able to walk in and get help immediately. Found a nice float tube with some fins. I appreciate they gave me a great deal on the set and I'm ready to get out on the water and fish. We'll definitely return for more business.

Family-owned. Alaskan through-and-through, if you're new to Alaska they can give you pointers on hunting and fishing up here as well. Always fair and willing to negotiate. I'm a local contractor and I buy everything from them. If I bring it to work and it doesn't work, they replace it no questions asked. Reputation and experience, means a lot more to me than any paperwork warranty

I went in and bought a kitchenaide mixer they posted on market place. The owners son told me it was his mothers and worked I should have had him plug it in to show me but I took his word. I had not used it until recently and guess what it turned on you could hear the motor running but the gears did not turn what a waste of money and trust for me. I do not like liars. Do not trust!! I do not want what happened to me to happen to anyone else.
