This was a great place to spend an afternoon with my 3yo. It is small in size, but it had like 10 other kids in total and it was easy to walk around and let your kids loose (as long as they are well behaved and you monitor the one exit).

It had a STEM themed play area indoors, suitable for toddlers and small kids. There was a dinosaur artifact area, where the dinosaur replicas can get really hot to touch for little kids.

The Zoo area was the most fun, with a few birds, meercats, raccoons, flamingos, etc.

It's a cute spot to take your kids for a quick little trip. Definitely for younger kids like 1 to 6 years old.

This place is perfect for those curious minds especially those who enjoy nature. It has an indoor area where you can play music, building block, read books, magnets, and more; and an outdoor area with little animals and sand pits. We love this place because it is perfect for kids to play by themselves or a playdate. The size is not big enough so parents can look after them from afar. The staff are super nice and friendly. Plus, they have a cute tree house area outside and a baby corner for crawlers.

They get busy during summer with field trips/ camps; so, I suggest getting a ticket before you go.

First time visit. It was so great to spend around 3 hours here. Felt nostalgic to see the peacock roaming around freely!!! Cute meerkats, scarlets, flamingo feeding, plus lot many other things for kids! Loved it.

We stumbled upon this delightful museum and zoo that's conveniently closer than the ones in San Francisco. Perfect for younger kids, especially my three-year-old niece who loves hands-on activities. The junior museum is akin to the Children's Discovery but at a fraction of the cost, making it worthwhile to become a member.

The only challenge is its small size, so purchasing tickets for a time slot in advance is highly recommended. Morning spots are usually booked fast, but afternoons work well.

The museum is vibrant, creative, and kids have a blast. My niece enjoys the zoo outdoors, climbing, and checking out the dinosaurs. The only drawback is limited space and no snack area anywhere on premise. We are told it was because of critters.

However, the nearby playground compensates for a nice break area. There's no souvenir shop or refreshments, but I highly recommend it for young elementary school kids.

Parking is available, though the lot can fill up, but street parking is an option. Overall, a fun and worthwhile place to visit regularly. Be prepare to chase your kids around the zoo and wear comfortable sneakers.

Love the location adjacent to playground and library. Small exhibits but the whole place was really engaging for a 3 year old and kept her occupied for 3 hours.

Great place to bring the kids. One of the highlights of this place is that a certain time of the day adults and kids can feed the flamingos-super Cool Experience. They have some animal, an area for kids to play and outside sitting for lunch and snacks. They don’t sell food there you have to bring your own. They also have a free parking area.

Having revisited this museum and zoo after almost a decade, it's evident that numerous enhancements have been made for the better. It's a wonderful destination for young children, boasting various animals, birds, aquariums and STEM play areas. It has limited parking but you can park on the streets. Also it’s advisable to reserve tickets ahead of time for a seamless visit.
