I have been a loyal user of Club Speed for over 10 years and continue to utilize their services (but have started to actively look into other options). In the past, their customer service was exceptional, and many of their long-standing staff remain exemplary. However, since the sale of this family-owned business to Navadon Capital Partners in 2019, there appears to have been a significant shift in priorities.

Previously, Club Speed stood out as an industry leader due to its focus on delivering a reliable product paired with outstanding customer support. Unfortunately, it seems the emphasis has now shifted toward releasing new features—many of which appear untested and prone to glitches—at the expense of service quality. The software carries an expensive monthly licensing fee, and they also apply a 5% fee to any bookings your customers make on their platform ($10 max per booking). This is a significant sum each month, and the value is no longer represented in the level of their service.

For example, the enterprise edition of the software once included 24/7 reliable customer support via a 1-800 number. This has since been discontinued. In the last three instances where I sought support, I was required to leave a message, and I have now been waiting almost three days without a callback.

It’s disheartening to see a company, whose growth was largely built on excellent customer service, lose sight of this critical value. I empathize with the long-term employees who likely take pride in the company’s history, as it now appears that customer needs are no longer a priority.

Club Speed processes gift cards for a local go kart track, located about an hour from my home. I purchased a gift card for a birthday present and never received the email with the actual gift card. I contacted the local go kart company who informed me that they do not issue the gift cards and provided me with the number for Club Speed. I contacted club speed multiple times. The first time, I provided the confirmation number for my transaction and the guy stated that he would send the gift card within 24 hours to my email. After 48 hours still no gift card! I then called back again and was informed that they would not send me my gift card that I would have to have the company call and request the gift card. I also tried to reach them via chat on their website and did not receive a message back. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to send an email!!! I am now awaiting a return call from the manager at the go kart company. I’m guess I’m going to have to drive an hour to the go kart company, stand in line, and wait on their manager to call Club speed to request an email from Club Speed. At this point it really feels like Club Speed just stole my money and is refusing to provide the item that I purchased. This company is not worth your time and does not provide a service worth the headache!

Don't do this to your business.
We were lied to about what the Clubspeed software could do, and are now stuck with a software system that is clunky, half finished, constantly glitching, and doesn't suit our business needs. We have spent countless hours working on customising their software to somewhat work for us (Between staff, maybe even up to 1000 hours)
We still use a third party calendar to track our bookings because their calendar is so clunky and horrible to use and almost impossible to manage off site. It has even crashed twice and we have lost all our data.
We were promised a portable and easy to use calendar view for tracking our bookings off site, but we were simply lied to about this and MANY other things.
For example we were promised that we could use promo codes - this is simply a feature they do not have. The list goes on and on. Nothing works as it should. The salesman 'Van Morgen' will tell you that the software can do everything you need, when it simply can't.
We were told that we would need no hardware at all for the set up, then received a large onsite system server in the mail, and charged thousands of dollars for it.
My opinion is that Clubspeed software tries to cover too many business niches, and ends up nailing none of them. And the salesmen either don't understand the business, or love to lie. I'll give the sales pitch 5 stars, and the deliverability 0. Choosing Clubspeed is the worst decision we've made for the business and if we could go back in time, there is absolutely no way we would do it again.
All in all - a very expensive mistake.

Awful. Avoid. Don’t return calls or follow up on support tickets. Nobody from “upper management” is ever available to take calls. Don’t supply the hardware they promise that was part of initial sign up contracts. Continue to take payments from customers after cancellation notice has been given. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Spoke to Joe in inside sales asking questions about the platform and the different capabilities. He suddenly became very rude and hostile. Said "if your just going to ask me a bunch of questions, I am just going to hang up on you" I was appalled and he hung up. I would NEVER recommend this software to ANYONE. If that is how they treat potential customers than imagine how they would treat existing! Management should be ashamed.
His job is to answer questions! He is in SALES! I would never employ someone like that in my company.
