Pro City DJ was the DJ at my wedding back in September and he was absolutely amazing. When in contact with Pro City DJ before choosing him for our wedding, he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He answered all of my questions and was transparent about the price and his recommendations. We had a backyard wedding in wine country with dirt roads and limited access to electricity. Pro City DJ was extremely versed with this type of wedding and knew exactly how to navigate it. After deciding to go with Pro City DJ, he sent an email stating exactly what to expect in the weeks leading up to the wedding and made it clear exactly what he expected from my husband and I. Over the course of several emails back and forth, he takes the time to get to learn about you, your preferences, and even takes into account what type of crowd will be at your event. He made several draft documents before finalizing the music plan to truly perfect the atmosphere of our wedding day. My husband and I didn't have a wedding planner so Pro City DJ took initiative to create a minute by minute plan for our wedding day and planned it all around music. Not only did he DJ our wedding but he was also emcee and made any announcements that we asked of him. The day of the wedding, he was FANTASTIC and everything ran smoothly because of him. During the reception, he played music for 2 hours and did an exceptional job at keeping the party going. Pro City DJ is extraordinary at his job and knew how to read the crowd and what songs were getting the most interaction. There was one song that got less people on the dance floor, he took immediate note and changed the music and got people back on the dance floor for the rest of the night. He is so friendly, professional, and truly made our wedding 100x better than it would have been with just an average DJ. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would! If you have the opportunity to hire Pro City DJ for your event, I would HIGHLY recommend.

We will forever listen to the mix from our wedding day. That should be a testament to how awesome Rick is as DJ and MC. He was incredibly organized and proactive to speak exactly what he needed for a venue (Palm Springs/Desert estate property) which was new to the wedding scene. He listened to all our requests pre-wedding and put an awesome mix of Russian (important piece of our wedding), 90/2000’s, and current tracks in a way that everyone (from 6years to 70) was dancing until the end.

Rick was amazing to work with he was a very organized and sent us a timeline (event before our wedding coordinator) to complete for wedding songs way in advance. His style of organization worked perfectly with my planner personality however if you're a bride that is an organized doesn't enjoy planning Rick can absolutely take over this portion of the task… he was flexible with music and changes in music he allowed the bride and groom to change songs during the middle of the night and worked with an outside guitar player (a friend of ours) who performed during the ceremony. If we EVER have need for a DJ and MC, we would have a zero hesitation in hiring Rick again- his price, his effort, his energy they're all worth it to bring to the table for us celebration like your wedding!

He did our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and of course reception. All three phases were awesome, as he worked with us to curate the selection of music before. His sound system was very high quality. Best of all, he was THE most affordable compared to other vendors!

My Wedding was 1 year ago! Alittle late on my review, but in celebrating our 1st year anniversary yesterday, I had to come and say something. First off, Rick is insanely organized. He'll ask you questions you never thought of. Little details that could have easily been missed had Rick not have been there. He creates a timeline that catches all the little details that make a big difference. He was a great MC. He has a great voice, great style, awesome energy. The music was right on point. I never heard something I cringed too. He also will do exactly what is important to you. For example, I didn't want the music to stop or for the cake cutting to be announced. That's a dancefloor killer. AND I wanted only 2 designated people to give speeches. And he was instructed that if anyone tried to take the mic, to tackle them! lol I got what I wanted, only 2! We also got his photo booth. The neat part about that is I can't believe how many of my guests took pictures without gluing a copy in the photo book for me! But no worries, because Rick sent me a digital copy of every picture taken. The schedule moved forward smoothly. He worked great with my coordinator. The dance floor was always packed. The cake lighting was perfect. He brought props galore, And my dancefloor monogram was perfect! There were NO technical issues, no timing issues, and his lighting made my reception dance floor magic! I can't imagine a wedding without Rick.

Awesome in every way! We hired Rick at Pro City DJ for my son's wedding at Avensole Winery. I planned the wedding because my son and his bride live out of state. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed - Rick is so organized and helped me plan all of the music, timing of events like the bouquet toss, etc. and was very proactive in keeping me on track. He offered very helpful ideas and song suggestions. He listened more than he talked which I thought was great because another DJ in had interviewed talked about himself non-stop instead of listening my concerns and ideas for the wedding. Rick is simply the best! The ceremony was perfect and people were partying and dancing until the last song. Very happy customer

Can't express how grateful we are for Rick. He DJed our wedding in April 2024 and we could not have imagined going with any other DJ. He is such a pleasure to work with and really made the wedding planning process fun. Throughout the planning process, he created this document for my wife and I to fill out together, and we could see how putting in effort for the document prevented us from stressing about the wedding down the road. For our open dance set, he was incredible at mixing all of our favorite songs and got our wedding guests dancing all night long, just as we envisioned. His photobooth services were also highly worth it for us and our guests. Would definitely recommend Rick at Pro City DJ for anyone getting married in Temecula or the surrounding area!

I’m so happy we chose Pro City DJ for our wedding in September, 2023. Not only we had great music that made everybody dance, but we also had an amazing MC who kept things flowing and made all the announcements necessary. Rick was so great to work with, and he did take his time working on our wedding program that was so helpful because we didn’t have a wedding planner. Rick was awesome ! We were lost during the planning process but Rick walked us through the actual day's event. We had a timeline created and he asked questions we didnt even think of. Having an itinerary really kept us organized and gave us piece of mind. We also had a few hiccups on the wedding day to which he was able to navigate with ease. The playlist he created and the fun our guests had with the photobooth made the wedding feel like a hit ! Im glad we got the photobooth because our guests were really able to enjoy the activity and have a souvenir out of it. Would definitely recommend !
