We recently sold our home, and we are 100% sure we could have never done it without someone of Doug Zeller's caliber. Had we chosen to use someone without his valuable experience in real estate, we would have never sold, or - if we had - we would have lost a lot of money, sleep, and our marriage would have most likely suffered from the stress. That's because shortly after we accepted an offer, a pipe burst, which in turn revealed the presence of mold, which resulted in mold remediation and a complete remodel of the affected area. This not only affected the close of escrow, but a lot of lives, including ours and those of our buyers. I can't even imagine how we would have made it without the help we got from Doug and his team! Even though we knew this was a tough situation, Doug did all the hard work, while constantly putting our minds at ease, building us up, and encouraging us to help when we could see no hope ahead. Doug and his team did not rest until we closed escrow, and not just us, but also our buyers and their agents were all happy. Doug and his team coordinated everything on our behalf, with the various contractors, the escrow company, our buyers' agents, and so on. At some point, this unexpected roadblock - and the tremendous work involved - extended into Doug's vacation, which he and his wife had planned a long time ahead! However, we felt as if they were never gone! Even during their well deserved time off, they continued to push things along for us, which in the end helped us all meet the extended escrow deadline. We can't express in words how grateful we are! Oh, how we wish we'd have more homes to sell or to buy, haha - to employ Doug and his team again and again and again! But, since that's not the case, all we can do is let everyone else know how wonderful Realty World - Sierra Properties are, and encourage you to give them a call for your real estate selling or buying needs. Working with Doug and Nicole was one of the best experiences ever! My wife and I recently sold our house and joining their team was a blast! Doug may just be the most positive person I have ever met, and his contagious attitude had a positive impact for us throughout the experience. We will be forever grateful for this team’s diligence, hard work, honesty, and just keeping us sane during the whole process.

After his initial visit with us, Doug recommended that before we list, we postpone until everything was ready, even if this meant waiting a few extra months. Living in the semi-rural area, he suggested that we take care of the many inspections that would be needed ahead of time, and address any issues that those could potentially bring up. We started making our calls and within 6 weeks were able to list our home with clear reports for termite, septic, well, and roof. As a bonus for living in California near trees, we also needed a Defensible Space certification from CAL Fire. Being able to show an interested buyer these documents meant that questions were easily answered and also helped with a faster close. I think Doug’s initial advice added value as seen by the number of visits and offers we had immediately after putting the house on the market.

Having never sold a home before, we did not know what to expect. This made joining team Zeller that much more fun since they have been doing it for so long. Those years of experience made it obvious how much they love what they do and how good they are at. They created a feeling of teamwork from the beginning and I decided to make a group on my phone called ‘Home Team’ – it was always comforting to send and receive updates under this heading – we truly were a team! Doug and Nicole kept us in the loop every step of the way. There was constant encouragement and answers to each and every one of our questions, and the memes and gifs added to the joy!

If you are looking to list your home, I would HIGHLY recommend the Zellers. Hands down, you will get way more out of it than what you put in. These two are always there when you need them – which is very often when you’re trying to sell your place! If we were not moving out of state, I would also have them help us find the next home, and hopefully that tells you something!
