Bar Louie - The Promenade at Downey - Downey, California

Ambiance: Lots of space inside, great sized bar, and not crazy loud inside. I came at the beginning of happy hour, and there were plenty of seats available, no one at the front which was a bit odd but not a big deal.

Service: No complaints on the service, didnt have to wait too long for anything. Everyone i spoke to was kind and helpful.

Food: I came for the drinks so I can't speak too much about the food. I had some pretzel bites, which were average, wasn't a fan of either of the sauces. On the other hand the drinks didn't do it for me.. the strawberry lemonade sangria was so bitter, almost sour. I wasn't a fan... the margarita was better, refreshing but lacked flavor if that makes sense. I'd try it again just for different items

Parking was slightly chaotic, but it's a popular shopping center.

I went here for superbowl Sunday. The service here is good. However I came here withh a large group (5-6) and we were seated at a small round table. We were moved to a different larger table to accommodate us but the manager moved us back to a smaller table claiming the table we were moved to was reserved for 10 people. Turns out that table was reserved for her husband and baby. The manager was very rude to us when moving us back to our original table and was also rude to the staff. The entire time we watched the game only two people were at this table that was claimed to be reserved for 10. This is preposterous and extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. to have a table reserved for just her husband and her baby, ( which shouldn't be even at a bar at all let alone during superbowl) is extremely unprofessional and just downright wrong. The staff we had was very good and the food is awesome. But the manager needs to learn how to be professional and upright. She was very rude to us and lied to us as well. I love this place but will not be coming back due to this sentiment.

Firstly the bouncers/security guards gave us better service than the restaurant itself. We entered and not one hostess greeted us or guided us to sit. We grabbed our own table thinking they were busy. 15 minutes went by, no one came to us nor cleaned the table we were at. We had to ask 3 times for a waiter. 25 minutes past still no one attended us.
We left in regards of the horrible service.
Nonetheless the look of esthetics of the restaurant were appealing, hopefully next time we come they will be better service.

The service was awsome, the food was great, but the restaurant does need a bit of an update. My kids loved it.

Food was ok more appetizer than actual dishes on the menu. The hamburgers weren't cooked all they way. However, the spinach and artichoke dip was really good. The loaded tot were really good, too. The drinks weren't all that, but they did have a special for the martinis, so that was good. Need different types of music should be mixing it up. The music that was playing was a little too melon. Services were really great.

It was a great experience, The food was good the drinks were great and you can't beat happy hour. Our waiter was very personable.

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Arianna and I must say, she made our dining experience truly exceptional! From the moment we sat down, her warm smile and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome.

Arianna was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were always full and checking in on us at just the right times. Highly recommend asking for her !

Great experience at Bar Louie because of Jasmine! She was great all the way around. Amazing service, attention to detail and incredibly personable. First time at this establishment and thanks to people like Jasmine we would definitely come back!!! Food was good, atmosphere was chill and music was great. Bottomless mimosas were great as well
