The view from this site is magnificent ! But the site itself is in bad condition! Toilets are dirty, binoculars do not work. The parking lot was closed even though many people wanted to visit the site. All the steps are covered with ice, which is dangerous for walking

This is a beautiful place for a hike, with a short and moderate trail. You'll encounter Vista Point and Inspiration Point, where the views of Emerald Bay are stunning, surrounded by mountains. There's also a small bridge that offers a glimpse of Upper Eagle Falls nearby, while Lower Eagle Falls is located across the road from the trailhead.

Parking can be tricky, so it's best to arrive early in the morning. We were fortunate to find a spot close to the trail. You can easily spend around three hours enjoying the area.

The views here are so beautiful! We love to visit when we go to Tahoe. This year we visited at the end of September. Parking was easy but there isn't much of it in the lot. Paying for parking was very easy and you have the option of cash/ paying by phone. It only took a few minutes to pay with card by phone. They have bathrooms as well.

Beautiful view point, with restrooms. A must see stop on the emerald Bay tour. There is a car park charge if you stay over 30 mins.

Beautiful area and Vista point! You do get a nice view of Lake Tahoe but some angles area blocked by tress so it's not a completely "open" view!

This is a breathtaking view of Lake Tahoe. You can smell the fresh air and pine trees all around. You can look down into the Emerald Bay and see the beauty of the mountains surrounding the lake. If you come to Lake Tahoe, I'd highly recommend to come see it from this viewpoint.
