I recently visited Newport Racing & Gaming, and I must say, it was an absolute blast! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a vibrant atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my time.
The gaming floor was impressive, with a wide variety of slots and Historical Racing Machines that kept me engaged for hours. I particularly enjoyed the Ultimate Fire Link and Buffalo games - the thrill of winning was exhilarating!
Smiley's Bar & Grille served delicious food and drinks, and the prices were reasonable. The sports bar area was lively, showing live races and sports games, which added to the excitement.
What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. The team went above and beyond to ensure I had a great time, from explaining the games to offering helpful tips.
Newport Racing & Gaming has earned a loyal customer in me. If you're looking for a fun, entertaining experience with a chance to win big, look no further! I can't wait to visit again and try my luck.

Last year (2023) it was a great place to go play slots. Had a good chance of winning more than I lost. But management changed (& the food menu changed not for the better) & now in 2024, I just can’t win there. I’ve pretty much stopped going now because losing most of the time is not fun. They have taken popular machines out (No Quick Hits now!) I wish their slots hadn’t been tightened up. Seems unfair to customers. So I’ll likely stay away & just keep my money. Things were much better before they changed management. They’ve basically lost this once frequent customer with all the changes made trying to increase profit margins. I’m sure other customers have noticed how the stinginess is evident also. Just went after several weeks away & another new cost cut- Pepsi replaced Coca Cola- Not a good decision. Another reason to stay away. I will tell everyone I know to go gamble elsewhere because any place is better than Newport Racing & Gaming if you want to win!

This place has really gone downhill. Whose bright idea was it to take out all but 3 magic link/magic ball machines? That's what most people like to play the most. That's probably going to cost you alot of business, and the payouts have gotten pathetic.
Not to mention, anytime they have a drawing, they either start late, can't start due to "technical difficulties ", or the same names are called over and over.

This casino clearly does not value its customers or employees. Only a matter of time before they close this one. Hard Rock offers so much more for every dollar spent. It isn’t even close. My friend’s last 6 months at Newport was $280K in, $175K out. They demoted his player level from Red Card to Yellow Card. At Hard Rock you would be an Icon Card holder. Newport continues to ignore their quay customers and it is definitely costing them. I expect Newport to shut down in 2025. Just my opinion, but personally I want to spend my entertainment money with a casino that values my business.

We are here now-- on Tuesdays this month you get a $10 comp for food--burgers, shrimp, etc. are $13--appetizer type things are $7--so be prepared to not get much, pay some with your own money--i think it should be a $13 comp so that people could at least get a burger --anyway we went and sat down at the bar to order and the bartender kept waiting on each person that came up instead of us--we mentioned it and she said, "it's busy!""--then still kept waiting on new people--it asked if there was a line or something and she handed a lady her receipt while looking at me and saying TY FOR YOUR PATIENCE!!!" , just to be sarcastic--she treated us like crap, and we had to get her supervisor to order our food--we told him to go and he brought it for here--he wouldn't let me tell my side without pulling me to the back, but he told us to stay away from her, and went up to the bar and heard her side in front of all the customers--i asked him why SHE didn't get pulled to the back and he said bcz she was waiting on people--DUH, that's exactly why we were upset! And he knew that, and still let her wait on people ahead of us--anyway, if you get Christina S as a server, be prepared for rudeness--i can't believe someone who works for tips would act that way

I think this place is pretty cool only downfall I see since I've been there is your tear credits I've been going there for almost 2 years and I'm still a beginner card and I never get no more than $5 free play and they told me it's because I need to be more consistent well I'm there almost every day I don't think you could be more consistent than that and I play 5 since 10 cents it never goes up they don't give you food credits I think that blows I think they just need to do more for people down there since people spend their money and there is a couple really nasty rude workers there not too many most of them is pretty nice and helpful and also don't like the fact that when you're there you get hustled people come up and try to bum money off of you or sell you some kind of bull crap but if you tell the guards they're usually on top of it but I only want two times since I've been there and I've only had my name called once out of 2 years but you'll hear the same names being called almost every event that kind of makes me wonder overall it's just looking for a quiet place to kick back and enjoy some fun that'd be a good place to go p but it's definitely quiet there's not too many people that go in down there anymore unless there is some kind of event step up your game Newport give people their free play they deserve and when I asked you for help you need to help him a little more than what you do instead of getting rude sometimes the blind guard that works down there is about the nicest person I've met down there

They do have non alcoholic drinks available 24/7. They have 2 bars, one is open most of the time. One has decent food.

They don't have card or roulette tables.

Drove almost 45 min.. to lose $100 on one machine on a 50 cent bet that never hit a bonus or anything one time!! Never in my life have I went to casino and not hit any type of bonus on $100 and a 50 cent bet at that! You definitely lost me as a customer. Oh and I get, you lose some and win some.. believe me, I have lost plenty of times but atleast I got to enjoy my loss by hitting bonuses along the way... You will never see me again, Newport...
