This is one of Greeley’s hidden gems. They have a phenomenal selection of comics, board games and TCGs, as well as local tournaments for any and all games every weekend. They have one of the most inclusive communities that welcomes all. If you’re a nerd seeking other nerds, this is the place for you!

This is a warning for parents - my son has been getting gift cards, aka their tokens, for the last few years for his birthday, etc. He is getting to an age where I want him to interact and lead the process of what he wants to buy and complete the transaction, so I am there but standing back to let him do his thing. What I did not realize is they have been shorting him his change every time. He bought a comic that was like $11.08, to which he gave them $12 of the "gift card tokens", she did not give any change back and I questioned why and she stated they don't give change. That simply doesn't make sense. Because now I don't recommend my family to buy gift card tokens there anymore, now I feel bad knowing that over the last couple years if this has repeated itself countless times how much money he/we have lost out on, probably enough for a handful of additional comic books. I know it was only $0.92, and to be fair she did give change AFTER I stepped in, but I don't know anywhere that you can't use a gift card down to zero, and if they can't provide that option that doesn't entitle them to keeping the change of a gift card that someone bought like they are owed interest. Thinking to the last few months alone now that is $5.52 at least. Let alone all the rest of our visits. Then add in everyone who buys these tokens for gifts and they keep the "round up" difference. No thanks. I hope that is not an actual policy in place because it certainly is a reason to change future visits and where we recommend buying gifts for him or us.

Fantastic little game store that has a nice variety, only small downside is sometimes there doesn't seem to be many newly released games, often leading to the selection being a bit stale. BUT that's not a deal breaker, just would rather support a local business over ordering a new release online on Amazon. will definitely continue to support them!

Plus their LGBTQ+ friendly which is lovely to see

A five star, to one star, back to five star review:
I've been a customer for many years now. Love the atmosphere in the shop. The staff has always been very friendly and downright easy to talk to. I'm being treated like a fellow hobbyist, and not a walking wallet, every time I set foot in the store.
I've watched the store change over the years. I like what I've seen, and deeply appreciate the effort of the staff in providing a welcoming environment. The staff has gone out of their way for me personally without fuss. I had left a couple miniatures that I'd poured my heart and soul into in their display case. That case, and any miniatures within, had been removed after others had been disrespectful to it and the hard work that the staff and customers had contributed for each other to enjoy and be inspired by. The staff kept my minis safe and saw them returned to me.
Having someone else take an active interest in protecting something I worked hard on, and ensuring it made it back to my hands was a meaningful experience for me as a mini painter, let alone a customer.
Other reviewers have made comments in the past suggesting that this is a den for aggressive, elitist players and that you should avoid spending any time upstairs in the game area. None of this has been true in my experience.
Every visit to the store, I've seen nothing but friendly people sharing their passion for all the awesome things that come with being a 'nerd.'
If you're in to miniatures, comics, collectibles and toys, games of all shapes and sizes then this is a store for you.

Thank you for everything, Nerd Store.

Was my go-to shop for pokemon cards but they charged double the price on release date of a new set. $100 for a $50 product is ridiculous. They said it’s to avoid scalpers buying and reselling. Let’s be real here guys you’re no better than scalpers when you’re basically charging their prices.

Some of the things are a little over priced, but I would so much rather pay a little extra to support a local store than Amazon. Wonderful selection of games, dice, trading cards, miniatures, books, comic books, and toys

A nice little boardgaming and tabletop store
Plenty of games to look and browse at. And an upstairs room to play your own!
