James Martial Arts Academy is one of the best decisions we've ever made for our kids. The classes go far beyond just teaching them some martial arts - they have helped them with confidence, respect, and determination. Sifu Darryl is an incredible mentor and leader and we couldn't be more grateful for the influence he is becoming in our kids lives. He is extremely kind, patient, yet FIRM and pushes the kids in a way that truly serves their best interests. He's a wonderful human being and an amazing martial arts instructor! He, as well as the other instructors here, clearly care so much about the kids they teach and it shows beyond a doubt. You and your kids will love being part of his programs!

When looking for a karate class for our 7 yr old, we were so lucky to have found James Martial Arts Academy. Sensei Sifu brings the best of vibes and the kids have so much fun while learning at the same time. He knows how to talk to them in a way they understand and is able to control a class full of students with a lot of energy by redirecting them very easily. Very pleased and lucky to be here!

For the past 4 years i've been here and he always welcomes everyone new and always has a positive mindset. We have fun, while still making us learn the materials we need to keep us safe for ourselves, family and friends .Sufi has always been there for me even when I left and he has gotten me back on track. I love Sufi with all my heart and he has been the greatest role model for me till this day.

I have been training under Sigung James for past several years. Both me and my two children have all benefited tremendously from the training. He is an excellent instructor and processes great knowledge, ability and patience. His teaching style suites students of varying abilities, beginner or advanced. We are quite impressed with Sifu Darryl and his ability to engage and lead a group of young children. We wanted our 4 year old son to participate in martial arts so he can learn to focus his energy and follow directions. We have noticed the positive impact it has had for our son and as parents we pick up on some of Sifu Darryl's methods for implementing respect and discipline at home. The classes are fun for the kids but Sifu makes sure he keeps everyone in check. We highly recommend Sifu Darryl and James Martial Arts Academy!

Our 5 yr old started a month ago and he absolutely loves coming to karate! Sifu is amazing with the kids! Every class is different and filled with energy. The kids have a blast! We are so happy we signed up and our son enjoys it. We highly recommend James Martial Arts Academy!

I’ve been in karate since I was 4 years old. I’ve learned many self defense mechanisms and have fun doing it. Sifu is a great instructor. He is patient, and willing to learn from others.
