I’ve had a pretty awesome time at the playground in Grossmont Mall until today. I usually love bringing my son here, but our visit took a turn when we dealt with an employee named Paris. Which she’s the worst person working there. Her attitude is horrible. I’ve got a paid membership and my son had his socks, but she wouldn’t let me just buy socks for myself without checking his first. I’m like, “He’s wearing the same kind you sell here!”

To top it off, when I wanted to borrow a ball for play, she suddenly asked for my California ID, which has never happened before. Also, it doesn’t state on the sign they have placed above the activity that you need an ID. Just that you fill out a form which I wasn’t offered. It felt like all these new rules were popping up out of nowhere, and I wasn’t really in the mood for that. The place unsanitary anyways. & Honestly, I decided then and there that I won’t be continuing my membership. It’s a bummer because I used to really enjoy coming here, but I just want a more laid-back experience next time.

Hopefully, they can sort this out!

Brought my granddaughters (4 years and 2 years) to play and expend all that toddler energy! Best choice ever!!! The staff was friendly and the place was being constantly cleaned. My granddaughters had a great time, and so did I...just relaxing and watching them play. YES!!! We will definitely be back!

I think this place is okay but you can absolutely tell they DO NOT clean and sanitize. The ball pit looks like there’s grime all over everything and there’s a layer of just dust and dirt all over stuff. There toys are either broken or falling apart. There are mats just held together by duct tape. There crash mats have stains all over. I hope they implement a better cleaning method and repair toys. They also allow food and drinks so if your child has allergies please be careful.

Updated design. More age-appropriate things to do and play on. This is a wonderful place for preschool and young children to work off energy or boredom and to socialize with others their ages. Parents are still responsible for their charges, but the employees make it a safer environment.

Love this place, It's clean and safe and also has a separate area for ages 4 and under. The bathroom is really clean and has a changing station. There's a party room. However, we only were there playing, so I can't say anything on that. The staff there were also very friendly. Our son played for about an hour and a half and was sleeping before we left the parking garage. I definitely will return.

This place is great. We’ve been here a few times and our son just loves to run around the bouncy area. Our two year old went right into the area for minis and was immediately engaged. It’s a super easy way to get them to move around on a rainy day or for an easy play date. Especially for active kids!

At $22 per person I’d think they’d be able to afford batteries for the toys in the babies section. Not fun trying to explain why the toys don’t work and watching your kids face in disappointment. The kitchen and pretend play areas are seriously lacking. Half tomatoes, pears, a bread, and a knife? What am I supposed to do with that? No pans, no veggies, kettles, common you could do better than just a house with nothing inside. Rest of the place is alright outside babies area. Fix those things next time I come I’ll up my review to 5. We’ll see.

We took our young toddlers to The Playground recently and they loved playing there. There were lots of children there with their families. No shoes are allowed in the play areas. Young children 2-4 years have their areas to play. Staff was courteous, helpful and maintained a safe, clean and organized place for children to spend few hours playing there. Tired parents used the time there to relax while knowing their children were happily engaged in fun playing activities. The children in our group loved this place, which is conveniently located in the Grossmont Shopping Center, close to Target store. Parking was easy. Will definitely bring the children back to play.
