My name is Romeo and I myself own a video game store in Los Angeles, CA called LA Video Games and I must say as a collector and store owner that this video game store is FILLED WITH SO MUCH VIDEO GAMES. The second I walked into the store I was so blown away by the inventory that was everywhere. They had titles for every system you can think of and lots of it. Attached to it is also an arcade area in which you have to pay to get in but I thought that was really cool. My favorite part is all the random promos and store ad displays located all over the shop such as the Xbox 360 neon sign. The owner was very nice to me and we talked for a bit about the local community, constant trade ins his shop, and his passion for video games. He was also nice enough to say that he would also recommend my store to others and networking is key! Thank you for everything Pastime Legends Video Games & Arcades team!! I bought skate 2 and super Mario 64 here 2 days ago I was excited to see they had both of those games at their store and got both. This isn't the first time I've bought games here. I've always had a great experience coming here. I'll definitely be coming back here soon to add more games and consoles to my collection. I haven't had the chance to play the games in the arcade room so I'm excited for that.

Great place, why bother with any other used game corporate stores in the county, Plus these guys have some cool items that you can’t find anywhere else; it takes you back.

Place is a scam. Rather than charging sales tax per transaction they charge taxes per item totaling to an extra $20 in “taxes” on top of the price gouge. They base all prices $60 more from the highest ebay listing so even though they price a game a day before the owner makes up some mumble jumbo excuse to scan the game into ebay and if theres a new higher price he will charge more. He said he needs to get rid of resellers which is why he prices 10x the price of crappy condition games but is also contradicting himself because he is still charging 10x more than resellers. Not to mention he will sell you resurfaced games which cleans the disc of scratches but with the possibility of the game not working properly in which the owner will refuse to offer a return but will give you an exchange “if theres another copy” of item of game. The owner can make the excuse that he cant keep track of prices cause of high inventory but maybe he cant handle being a business owner. Everyone is better off buying from ebay, everything is at least 60% cheaper than this sad place; let this place go out of business and become a thing of the past.

The people working here are pretty rude. We came to get a Wii game, which they had a lot to offer which was great we got what we needed. But our questions we had were answered in a condescending way. We felt dumb for asking any questions lol. We came with our two year old in hopes of going in the arcade to play. But they have the arcade room gated up and guarded so you can’t even go in without having to pay $5 each person. The guy working there said we would have to pay for our son too even though he’s only 2 because if “he can play he can pay”.. his words hahahaha. But that same guy actually saw some other people in the store touching some lego’s that were in the store and he shouts “don’t touch that!! you’re not supposed to touch that!!” and while the person is still there he shouts across the store to the front “can you make a do not touch sign please!?” like… how embarrassing for the guy that touched the legos hahahahahaha. needless to say these people are jerks but the store does have a lot of selection for many different consoles.

My son and dad come here about once a week for the arcade and love it! My son said "The owners are very nice" so that's worthy of a review!
